We decided to hunt opening week for elk this year and I was rewarded with this beautiful bull on the second afternoon.

Climbed Coliseum Mountain, Nordegg Alberta in August 2019. It's January now and we are experiencing our first cold snap of the winter so I'm editing and uploading videos.

I finally got drawn for Non-Trophy sheep again after 8 years. I like to hunt them solo, with a traditional bow. They are a lot of work, but the meat is excellent, and if you like adventure, it is that! No kill shot in this video. I made it mainly for myself to remember the hunt but put it on UA-cam in case any one else wanted to watch.

My son's first deer a couple of years ago. I apologize for the quality of some of the filming. It's hard to coach a beginner and film at the same time. Should also have used a tripod. Hope you enjoy it any way.

We were heading back from our first backpacking triop of the season. This was the first time we had most of the family along. (all the backpackers anyway) We saw this young grizzly digging for roots in the ditch. I'm glad we saw her from the safety of our vehicle although she paid no attention to us. If you look carefully you can see a transmitter in her right ear.

Went for a little walk to see if the coyotes were using the den behind my house this year. They definitely have some pups and Mama wasn't too happy with us!
