Sickness - Ornaments of Mutilation [Full Album - 1995]
Sickness were a Floridian death metal band, having released the Torture of Existence demo in 1994 that I uploaded a long time ago.
Unlike the demo, Ornaments of Mutilation is more straight foward and has less tempo variation. Its also shorter somehow. They decided to change the production for the album, which ended up sounding a bit weird sometimes, but its fairly easy to get over that. Also, the debut has triple the blast beats the demo had, sometimes sounds like they wanted to make a deathgrind album.

Know what you mean, but I kinda like the raw aspect it gives to the sound. I'm practically sure a remaster would "over-clean" the sound unless someone's working with the master tapes (but even then, there's that chance)

Doesn't sound like a HM-2 tone to me. Maybe a TS/SD-1 boosted or modded Marshall amp (at least a JCM 800, or 900), has a strong midrange presence even when mid scooped.
