world class tetris idiot
Phantom Mania X (Invisible Shirase) GM in 4:27.68
played on 11/17/2023 (yes it took 7 months for me to get around to uploading this)
this mode sucks!! it was made by question_mark because he wanted to show off how good he was at cheating in invisible tetris.
this mode has a cool system that works identically to tgm3's master mode, but with much stricter time requirements. for example, you must meet the last two cools in under 14 seconds alongside having to survive the shirase speed curve with bone blocks and invisible line clears. if you're lucky enough to get all the cools you have to then put up 15 grades in the roll!! for reference, ti master requires a minimum of only 6 grades to meet gm requirements. before this run i choked 3 rolls due to the immense nerves.
getting gm in this mode required a combination of strange niche skills that took years and hundreds, if not thousands of hours to perfect. this is the best 5 ½ minutes of tetris i've played in the past 6 years and it's not even close.

Played by aur9 on 2/4/2022 This is the fastest recorded Grand Master score in TGM3's Master Mode outside of Japan. Additionally, it is the first recorded sub 5 in Master mode World Rule outside of Japan (2nd overall, 1st also by me, a few hours before this.) As of 2/4/2022, I hold the overall Western record in both TGM3's Shirase and Master mode.

ok tbh when i first saw this my immediate thought was "now do a run where you start from a new file and speedrun promotion to gm" however that is an INSANE ask given tgm3 is tgm3 but... c'mon... now someone out there has to have a morbid curiosity
it's funny that you bring this up! this is a category called RTA to GM, where you do exactly what you described. i have the world record and the first time below 1 hour. I want to get a recorded run onto youtube someday but the vods are on my twitch

Did you save and quit at any point in the run? Because it makes all onboard gifts start storing cash registers, so idk if that invalidates the run or not
lethal company seeds the contents of a gift box by its position of generation, meaning when you load a save (and lethal company "generates" your gift boxes) the contents of the gift boxes are different from what they would be had you opened them on a moon, however not necessarily better. we believe that with how close we were to meeting the 5k quota (5401/5773), it would be very unlikely that the original contents of our gift boxes would not have enough to meet quota. plus lc is in very early alpha lol high quota will probably look vastly different in 6-12 months anyways

that is the 4p record. this is the wr(?) for 2 players, as it is largely impossible to collect enough scrap to meet 4p quotas with 2p

i dont know how its possible to play invisible i literally cant do more then like 2 rows
practice :) getting more than 10 or so lines was very rare for me for atleast a month. i probably have over 1000 hours in invis, but anyone can do it :)
