Shoei Neotec 2 & Sena Srl2 second time review
second brand new pair of sena srl2's fitted and used. Have actually used them a couple of times now, battery life appears excellent and the clarity is very good too.

Pair of brand new Sena Srl2 intercoms, that have been faulty from new. repaired once. yes brand new and repaired. Tested by sena and returned and now faulty again after 2 hours use. Bit of a worry really as you know how over priced these are and the trouble with two, is which one is faulty ??? should I just get my money back or are they worth at when they work. 5 weeks without intercoms now.
SLR 2 was an expensive disappointment. Virtually impossible to pair with TFT, connection was continually lost. Volume control was terrible and the sound was poor. Trying to get the volume up resulted often in a systems being switched of, winter gloves and intermediates alike.

Couldn't agree more, definitely wouldn't recommend or buy again. Mind shoei have not made it compatible with neotec 3 so will just buy a cardo or something along those lines.

Working fine with tom tom. But it goes through motions to connect to phone it says pairing red light flashes and beeps but no blue and red flashing light so refuses to pair? Unless prob can be fixed then product is crap. Will be taking back to place off purchase tomorrow so watch this space.

To be honest no idea, check out the other vids. When I first installed had no problems. But on the first day out on bike before we set off the wife complained of a crackling noise. I thought it was just a bit of interference as it cleared but twenty minutes up the road she was screaming out to stop. Nightmare to sort out. These were also brand new units, Sena were not that helpful. Replacements working well, would I recommend !!!!!!!

Where did you get that black front button on shoei, instead the normal red one ??

That would be the Bluetooth MAC address, not the serial number

Hope you got this resolved. I've been using one in my Neotec 2 for a couple of months with no issues.
Hi Mark ( sorry for late reply ) yes got it resolved. Very disappointed that sena did not sort sooner. These were brand spanking new units. Sena help desk asked me to update them which is OK if you have a computer, which I don't. Then told to send back to Helmet City. They then wanted test them but there service department was busy so would take a few days! Then blow me they chuffing repaired them. Only lasted a few days then same story send back test etc. But yes finally got two more new ones which I've used for about 4,000 miles and so far so good.
