Did you attach display or USB connections anywhere?
That’s a very fancy of case. Beautiful
Yeah the ITX cases have come a long way in terms of functionality.
It is killing me to see the PC hasn't got the I/O back panel installed.
Yeah I really try get boards that have the IO shield but occasionally i have to use them without.. Seen people 3d print them before.
Are those case fans PWM or DC?
I believe the included fan is a DC one.
wow its bigger than expected
Yeah.. There is the focus 2 and focus mini which I think are smaller for MATX builds.
Sorry cant help myself.. That's what she said.
Cool, I was wondering how it all fits inside
Yeah tightly.. With a lot of fiddly cable management and plenty of cable ties to make sure nothing hits the fans.
Excellent stuff mate. Greetings from regional WA
Thanks means alot.. Im in W.A aswell.
I have this case but it gets ver dusty on the front grill
sorry for late comment, apparently it doesnt have a front dust panel, however the mesh front seems to have pretty small holes. is it enough for dust to not build up inside? in other words is the inside of the case dusty?
Yeah dust buildup mostly depends on its location and the fan configuration.. Honestly this case has been the least favorite to build into.... Definitely would recommend saving a few extra bucks and going for something else. I have had alot of luck with the Jonsbo D31 for MATX builds.
The asnwer to this is always "NO!". Let the damn mining-scalpers burn with their overly expensive hardware. Don't support their economy.
Yeah I totally get that perspective on the flip side though all those cards are also destined for landfill otherwise.
If you're open to constructive criticism, it may be good to try reducing the "umm"s and "uhh"s Also, it took over half the video to even bring up the question posed by the title (my thought was also why wouldnt it be a good idea to use them?), by which point I feel a lot of people will have lost interest. Maybe reordering the sections of the video so it explains some reasons it may not be good to use these cards for gaming at the beginning may be good? Keep in mind I'm just some viewer, I have no experience making videos. I just wanted to give some feedback of my thoughts as I was watching. Wishing you luck
Definitely still learning so any tips are appreciated. Yeah I have noticed my umms and ahhs as well... I think maybe if I wrote things down in a script form it might help with those.. I film ad hoc straight from the brain.
Question before diving into the video, why WOULDN'T I be able to game on them (or otherwise use them as normal graphics cards)?
I mention a few of the reasons in the video.. Please have a watch.
You can also dunk in soapy dishwater let dry in sun outside.
Think the main thing is the alcohol wash for the residue and shorts. Glad I got at least a few working in the end anyway.
It is very useful to post videos on youtube, I will subscribe to you! 😊
Thanks for the Sub.. Every single one is a great privilege for me.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I have these parts list. Would they be able to fit in this case? MSI H-610M-E i3 12100 (stock cooler) PNY Verto RTX3050 Corsair CX650 (non modular)
I think those should be fine.. Non modular psu may be a bit of a squeeze.. I would recommend the Jonsbo D31 over this one though
@localtechexperts thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out!
Very nice video, thanks!
Many thanks!
Very nice case and build - thanks!
Glad you like it!
@@localtechexperts I just purchased the black version of the case for the Asrock B550M Steel Legend I've had for almost a year. The case was the last part I needed to start on the build.
did you use an Matx or itx motherboard? i dont think i caught what board you were using
I used a MATX board.. Is surprisingly able to fit it quite well.
I have a question would a rx 7600 xt oc fit in this case?
Hrm not too sure on that one
It's strange none of the big channels review this case, possibly because it's mATX and for whatever reason people either prefer ATX or Mini-ITX.
Its actually one of my favorite MATX cases at the moment. A little bigger and more expensive than most but its worth it IMHO
@@localtechexperts I like it too, if I had matx board It would be a tough choice between this or Deepcool CH370 with all its nifty little features despite somewhat smaller size and less space for cable management, it's still beautiful.
Hello, does the "Arctic liquid freezer iii 280mm" radiator fit into the top part of the Asus A21 case? I have a "TUF GAMING B650M-PLUS WIFI" motherboard to specify the information more. Thanks
Specs state top can fit radiators up to 360mm
How to do the fans installation (the method where you can control RBG with motherboard software)?
The fan colors on this one are fixed.. Cant change them
Description of this case says it can fit 4 x 3.5" HDDs is it true ? Do mounts/caddy come with the case ?
Trying to remember.. Yeah there are extra HDD mounts but I think they go across the open space in front of the window.
where's the PSU shroud?
Not sure if you watched the video.. I mention that at about 8:00 mark. There isn't one on this model.
How much space is there in back..
Maybe 1/3 of an inch.. I really didn't have any issues with cable management in the back.
Those ARGB fans arnt connected through the MBoard, how on earth do you tone down the monsoon levels of force they generate? I swear theyre set to 100% RPM.
Yeah I mention that about the 4:30 mark.. They could at least add pwm to the included controllers for sure.
@@localtechexpertsSo you connect the rgb to the controller and also the fans to the motherboard case fan header ?
You can do it that way too.. The RGB controller just has a bunch of full speed fan headers but if only using a few fans and your motherboard has enough headers can connect them instead. @@rubenn7212
what are the fan case setting intake and exhaust?
All 3 are set to exhaust on this one.
thank you@@localtechexperts
Sorry but those cables look like a rats nest. Its like when the house looks clean cause everything is thrown in a closet. Problem is that with that case those cables can be seen.
Its as neat as its going to get without a modular psu.. All in all the cable management was pretty easy.
Is the drive cage removeable?
Yes it is.. From the bottom with a couple PSU screws I believe
good build i got a pc from you today very good builds keep it up
Oh cool you found me.. Thanks for the support.
What is that cutout for, in the front above the dust filter, where an optical drive would go? I mean how do you even install an optical with that mesh front or how would dust not go in? 🤦♂Weird design choice.
Yeah not sure.. Its too small for an optical and the plastic face plate covers it over anyway.. Only thing I can think is for running cables but even then is a bit weird.
My suspicion, the base of this case is from the Silverstone PS15 which has the front io cables attached to the front panel. Those cables would go through that cutout.
I've watched your videos, but I gotta ask: Fara H1m or NX500M?
Probably the Antec.. The Fara just feels a little cheaper.
@@localtechexperts Thanks. One more thing, will dust be a bigger problem with Antec? It's just the grate no filter?
Yeah I tend to try and use positive pressure to help with that. IE more intakes than exhausts. But yeah no actual filter on this one.
@@localtechexperts Is a ratio of 2 front to 1 back enough?
yeah that should be fine
Hi. Nice video! How noisy is the case with the fans, CPU fan and power supply whirring away? Thanks.
Thankyou.. Probably more noisy than a machine with more fans of quality. the fans in this one pretty much have to spin at a high rate constantly.
Hey thanks for the video, how you setup rgb of fans? Did you use rgb multipler? Need help :)
The fans in this one are a pack of 5 that come with a proprietary fan controller. Something like www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2V9X6XX Do you have a fan kit already? are they standard 3pin 5v argb fans?
This is a nice looking small case. Unfortunately I don't think it's worth it's current price (€70). You can get much better cases for less. Like the ones from Tecware. I got this Fara H1M in white when it was on sale for €42. Thats a more realistic price for it, imo.
Yeah I think you are right.. There are better cases in the same price range , Like the Jonsbo ones.... We don't have Tecware here.. Is that a brand of case is it?
Yeah, Tecware is an english brand I believe. Tecware UK. They have lots of nice designs, and are very affordable. Jonsbo also has good cases, true. Sadly most manufacturers only sell certain models where I live. Even tho they offer a much broader range of designs in general. Not sure why that is.@@localtechexperts
idk how to put the front fans in...
You pull the front panel off and screw the fans in from the front
How do u change the led colour. The button only fits in the case.
The fan colours are fixed on this one.. No ability to change.
No front USBC that's the only gripe about this case
Can i use an b650 motherboard
As long as you get a MATX sized board. These are MATX cases.
Can i use an b650 motherboard
As long as you get a MATX sized board. These are MATX cases.
With the C type, does your motherboard have to support it, how does connecting that work?
If your motherboard doesnt support you can get internal USB3 to type C converters.
@@localtechexperts Thanks a bunch
Honest question, how the hell are SSDs supposed to be mounted if that's where the cables must pass through?
Yeah not the best mounting solution for multiple 2.5" SSDs.. I just used one mounted on the 3.5" tray in the bottom.
Smaller motherboard. This mountuing solution is rather optional, I'd say. If you have a smaller micro-atx or itx motherboard, it works, since the cutout behind the motherboard can be used to lead cables through.
There seems to be no way to mount ssd's. Their location interferes with the cable cutouts. Also is the side panel tinted or clear?
Not tinted.. And yeah The SSD mounts do cover the holes.. Though you can mount a single SSD ontop of the 3.5' Bay at the bottom. I usually do it that way so I dont have to run extra cables check the 10:00 mark you can see how to do that.
That depends on your motherboard size. I have a very narrow m-atx motherboard, so I can use the huge cutout behind the motherboard to lead the cables through, since its not covered completely by my board. With a wider motherboard it can become tricky, yes.
neat!
Cheers man.. Was a bit of a struggle with so little room
@@localtechexperts yeah, very petite case, but tidy appearance in the end.
Do you think mounting the PSU fan up will help with airflow?
I doubt it... Its usually better when the PSU can draw fresh air from the bottom rather than warm air from within the case.
God, what are you doing guy? You put so many elements in a deaf case, it's just going to die there. I would remove from there to start all the hhd mounts and make good ventilation, you have very poor ventilation, your computer will just die if it is more than + 30s outside
Not sure if you watched part 1 but you can see I cut so many holes and mounted extra fans all over the bottom, top and front. As well as an AIO mounted in the top.
Did the front fans come with ??
No you can see in the video just the one black rear fan.. I added all the RGB fans myself.
Does this case come with standoffs and what screws does it use. is it 6-32 I’m not sure how many mm
Yes I believe it came with standoffs. Not sure on the size.. Seemed like the standards ones to me..
hi, does it come with the front ventilators ?
This one came with no fans. I had to add the fans myself
How do you mount SSDs? Why don't they put the cutouts behind SSDs, next tot he SSDs?
Honestly I put 2.5 SSDs on top of the removable HDD mount.. There are little clips.. Just find that easier as I usually put in a 3.5 as well and cable management is just easier that way.
Because there is no room. Honestly, the SSD mounts in the front only work when you have a smaller, more narrow micro atx motherboard. Then you can use the huge cutout behind the motherboard to lead your cables through, since smaller boards don't cover it completely.
