I have a simpler solution. Copy all of your clips and audios from your first timeline. Next, create a new timeline and change timeline settings to your desired settings. After that, paste all of your clips and audios and you should be good to go! Hope this helps!

undo does not work for me! but why?

Hey, this is a lifesaver. You can skip the first step, just create the second timeline with the correct framerate and copy your first timeline to the second timeline.

Didn't work for me (maybe it depends on the version of DaVinci). But I solved the problem by making EDL file and importing it to a new project with right framerate. Then sync color grading using ColorTrace and everything seems good now. Just check your cut again, because your clips will end a few frames earlier or later.

If somebody makes the BEGINNER FAIL, read this! If you erased all and CRTL Z or "load last version" does not get your files back, press the home button in Resolve and you will see your projects. The one you erased is now empty BUT: Press mouse right and there you should read something like "see project backups". There you will find automatic backups made by Resolve. Just load them, save them with a new title (I left the one Resolve proposes, since it contains the exact time of the backup) and there you have your project back! Then go to the french guy and follow his instructions. Those work.

works for me, if you dont want to lose your clips then dont delete them. just create a new timeline, do custom settings, and make one with the new framerate. then copy and paste your stuff from one timeline to the other. easy.

This isn't working in Davinci 16 (description says it was tested in 14). Here's a solution, found from scavenging the comments (be sure to always save your project first as a backup): a) Considering you only have Timeline 1, create a new one (Timeline 2) b) copy all clips from the Edit window from Timeline 1 (Ctrl+A + Ctrl+C) c) paste them into Timeline 2 (Ctrl+V) d) delete Timeline 1 (Right click > Remove Timeline) e) go to project settings (gear on the lower-left corner) and now Timeline frame rate is changeable

Ok to everyone on Davinci 16... Hit CTRL+N (or new timeline, same thing). Before clikcing create, click use custom settings. it is on the bottom left of the timeline creation box. Go to format, and change the timeline frame rate to what you want it to be. Cheers!

WARNING! DANGER! This does not work for Resolve 16....at least not for me. When you delete the clips from the media pool and change the project frame rate, then there is no undo option to put the clips and timeline back. Ctrl-Z or Edit-Undo has no effect. I had to restore my project from the backup, which I had fortunately set up to back up every 30 minutes. I would recommend exporting the project before experimenting with this. Now I need to find a solution to the project frame rate...

Wow - I've yet to come across a video with such varying degrees of success. Half the responses are "DUUUDE you are a LEGEND", the other half apparently have lost all of their work due to this recommendation! HAHA! Think I'll skip it.

it worked for me but when I exported the video, it came out in fast motion but I have all my clips to regular speed. help

WOW you just saved me from a nasty situation. All I had to do was "Highlight ALL" then copy and paste into a new blank timeline with the correct FPS etc. I had 2 cameras edited via multi-cam sinc'd with an audio track plus some B roll intro and outro . . . all came across beautifully! (6:30 vid @1080P). Thank You! maybe edit this video and leave out the undo or delete ideas?
