Thank you . A very inspiring review of the texts.
Good to see you back for a new season. Welcome Michael and thank you for hosting a fresh, challenging and grounded conversation with Dave... I've bought 1 of your books Dave and a compendium of Pause for Thought, which I usually miss hearing. It's going to be an interesting new season for PitP! Thank you! Tim
Irish rugby victories are good news 🏉 at least for those of us from that island that has just celebrated St. Patrick's Day 🐍🍀
An enjoyable interview. It adds to the watch or listen to have to hand the Bible readings discussed, on this case Joshua 24: 1-3a, 14-24 ; 1Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 25:1-13; Psalm 78:1-7.
I was sent this as a introduction to a speaker. Sadly the underlying concept of helping people through theology at a core (also express 'From the pulpit, we should be helping people to theologically reflect on the realities of life' is approaching all from a wrong footing: Although, I am just a Methodist preacher with a law degree specialising in human rights and religious offences - talking about ideals and how to think without logical action is a failure: Help those in need, ensure that all are safe and able to rebuild - only after that does theology enter consideration.
Thank you so much for this.

Very helpful thanks
Great episode thanks for sharing
With IPCC report, if we biblically lament and grieve, we might by the spirit discover resurrection, life and hope through action
Thanks Lee for your time in the host's chair
Hello Megan
Interesting video, but some of us have been aware of these questions for a long time and change is hard to achieve. I wd like to recommend a book by Barbara Kingsolver (famous as the author of The Poisonwood Bible) : Animal Vegetable Miracle. It describes how she and her family set about living, eating only seasonal and locally grown food and growing their own veg and fruit etc. It is set in the USA but cd easily apply here. You may already know it. It's a good read.
Well Done Vince M8

Implying the U.N would do something.
Well done Vince. Keep fighting the good fight mate
I’m an atheist like some other people in the comments, but that’s not the point of this video. The point is that nuclear weapons need to be banned. In as short a period as possible
Well done Tam, God be praised. God be with you.
Wiiiiiillllllllllllllllll! Great job, bro! :-)
Flowers & Music verses Nuclear Weapons June 5, 2018 www.bitchute.com/video/tXXrkIobJor5/
No More War
UN: Can you get rid of your nuk... USA: N O
Erm sorry but materials created the earth not god but the uk needs to take action in this nice order for no nuclear weapons.
exactly
Such a clever idea. Very moving.
Fantastic. Good to see Churches acting together on such a vital issue. This is almost completely being ignored by the Press (with the exception of Al-Jazeera) and yet it has the potential for huge change in how we "defend" the world. Spread the word - it worked for Chemical, Biological, Cluster Bombs and Mines which are now all Internationally Illegal. With enough pressure the big boys with the nukes will follow the rest of the world (the majority of the signatories) - they did for all those other armaments. Even the USA!
Shame that it appears to refer throughout to NUCULAR weapons. OK for Homer Simpson not for a serious commentary.
How dare someone have an Accent
@@jackslipher3432 nuclear = nu + clear
First comment too :)
First like :) Keep up the good work!
