hello! what a lovely message😇 thank you so much for watching: this 24-hour transit visa was Free of charge, it didn’t cost me anything, as it is more like an entry permission granted at immigration for eligible travellers, instead of a visa in a traditional sense. i just had to show my onward flight (leaving Shanghai within the timeframe) and check i was eligible with my British passport :) Definitely check the updated current policy online, as sometimes they can have changes, but from when I travelled, it was free! The main things are to check if your passport/country is eligible, and then to go through the process at immigration, such as showing the connection flight hope you enjoy, and thank you so much again for your support & kind words!💗

hello! yes, that’s what i did-upon arrival follow the signs for “24-hour transit” and the main thing they wanted to check was the connecting flight from Shanghai. for returning, i cant exactly remember but it was quite a smooth process and i asked some staff members where to go! best of luck and hope you enjoy, thanks for watching :)

yes, there was! but i would say just be wary that it is not open overnight for handing in/getting back luggage, so make sure it works with the timings of your flight :) from what i can remember i think it opens at 5/6am in the morning? and maybe closes by midnight, but just be aware of that! hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
