The tender love a father has For all his children dear, Such love the Lord bestows on them Who worship him in fear. Marvellous hymn and right tune everybody knows .often used as a wedding hymn to welcome the bride in.

I feel as if my parents are sitting beside me singing again

Dont know this hymn but i can soon learn it..play it through a few times .very nice tune .

Mum used to sing it every day in the war to boost her spirits .

My parents favourite as dad was in the royal navy for 6 yrs in ww2.
