Yeah this is the mission that made me quit the game. Gta 3 might been goo in 2002 but now its like a chore to play, bad missions, very bad traffic, tons of bugs and just no fun

There is a even easier way to do this mission. And you don't even need the bulletproof Patriot. Just grab a fast car and smash into the stall. As long as you're moving, you're pretty much safe
