Nice job man, great to see westerners getting into my favorite instrument. I think you have a great attitude, I myself and an American drumset player got into eastern music and hand drumming a few years ago, it's true that we can never achieve that sound that is so inextricable from being raised in the culture where the instrument came out of, but we can still learn to play the instruments very well and do our own thing, and thus still be a part of furthering the tradition. Keep it up!

@LessthanJake14 You sound like we would get along just fine. I'm tired of this mentality in metalcore that you have to be as heavy as possible and damn the music in the process. Cynic gives me hope in the future of metal.

thanks, yes, just a regular tiny camera with 5x optical zoom (no zoom option during recording unfortunatelly). You have to be far away from scene to capture the sound. cheers

thanks, I realize that it's very hard for europeans to get that special feeling connected with turkish music (the way the notes create melodies). I think I would never be able to get that ability. But this video is more like 'having fun with trying to play on it instead f guitar'
