I'm so illogical. I took Intro to Logic in college, and couldn't figure it out. The only way I passed the class was by putting in the answers that I thought were wrong. My brain was built with reverse logic. My husband has that logical brain; he's good at explaining the world to me.

My brother was diagnosed at 3 years old. So i spent my whole life protecting him from being bullied to the point that people thought i was the older sibling. We were always super close to the point where if something was wrong, i always knew before anyone else because i developed the ability to very accurately read body language. He is also high functioning, but basically, that comes with having no filter and seeing the world in more literals. I love him 😊❤. You seem like a great person 🫡

Ya know how some people have "gay-dar"? My friends and family joke that I have "autism-dar". I can usually tell within the first minutes if someone has autism or not. With you, I would be able to tell through certain body/hand movements and in some spots the cadence of your voice. 😊

Social interaction is the hardest thing ever. I want friends, cry constantly when I don't have one, but practically shun people before it can go anywhere.

I had always been my best friend's interpreter. She got diagnosed in her 30's as so autistic that she SHOULD be non verbal, but i guess she was masking her whole life so well no one knew she was autistic for 30 years. But she's say something and everyone around her would get mad and I'd have to interpret what she said so they didn't freak out.....turns out i might be autistic as well. That's why i think everyone is autistic, just more so then others. I'm starting to think that everyone may be neurodivergent, and being neurotypical is no longer the "norm". Humans are really messed up.

Not being visibly autistic is awesome and a curse. People either dont believe me or they think "oh well its not that bad then" meanwhile I'm about to be put on meds in combination with therapy, intended for me to come off those meds, to help balance me while I learn through therapy how to cope with all the things autism makes hard. Yes, I'm "high functioning" but i absolutely have intense struggles that make daily life incredibly difficult. Autism is hard regardless of where you lay on the spectrum. 💕

Just keep your head up, life is a hard hitting deal, just know that your doing your best and that's all you can do...respect 🙏
