3 years later street fighter and Tekken listened to you lol, most fighting games have simplified controls to make the barrier of entry and the elitest hate it, but fighting games sre thriving now because of the simplified controls. BTW i got to the top rank master in street fighter 6 using the new modern controls scheme and the elitest still crying a year later about modern controls. They don't like the simplification because it exposes that they are not really even that good on the core mechanics of fighting games.

Sf6 will get stale in a few years. Also its homonginized deeply. Though i love this game the design and how it works is kinda stupid and with less defense its become the monder unga bunga. Also its time to make a new fgc that is actually nice.

I think online players on Tekken 8 are more vocal to think they can just say anything negative in messages, when just trying to play for fun. They act like they are in EVO or something, when their own gameplay style is not that good in terms in how they use a character. They could be spamming the same moves and act like that is okay. I think content in Tekken 8 is a step up in some fields. But it also feels lacking in offline modes and features. Me being a Kuma main I wish they had the same amount of customization options like in Tekken 6. I assume due to the graphics of his fur textures and size, it may be an obstacle. I’m just one of few that like the cute bear and also like using Jun Kazama and Eddy. I’m more casual and don’t think like a pro player with frames and whatnot, but I still know the basics and know my match ups by studying animations in training. I see what is punishable and how fast an animation is. I’m neutral overall on Tekken 8. I can say Kuma has more options combo wise than he did in Tekken 7. Though he has his weaknesses against faster characters.

I could never get into street fighter before. I loved playing Honda/Dhalsim with the boys but I'd get smoked as soon as I went online. Idk what changed but I'm not awful at sf6 so I got into it and now I'm an AKI main

It’s the first SF game I really got into and I do enjoy it a lot. Some issues regarding internet and DLC stuff but from an exclusively gameplay point of view it’s really good

Imo it’s easy to nitpick instead of looking at the game and enjoying it looking from all Tekken over the years I think it’s the best fighting game, heat is OK at best the game has issues but is fun good roster and fixes aren’t nearly as bad as mk1 and are fixable fs up there with sf6

I think sf6 is the best 2d fighting game out now mk and strive lame compared to their previous games rounds ends in two interactions cuz everybody can do an easy 50%

I have to admit being a fan of capcom for decades, sf6 is the only one I could ever get into

Much like SF6, Tekken 8 also has improved in some areas over Tekken 7 but still has some issues. The roster is great, the production value has massively improved, the Ghost Battle feature is the first time since Killer Instinct that a learning AI system is actually working in a fighting game (SamSho 2019 tried also and failed), and we actually have frame data on launch this time. However, while story mode is better than Tekken 7 and also SF6 World Tour, it's still has tons of issues with the writhing and character usage and it's a far cry from MK1's story mode. And even more so, out of all the big three, Tekken 8 has the least variety, quantity and duration in terms of single player content. You can finish all the SP content in just a month and then it's all just online, which is full of cheaters and boosters more than MK1 and SF6 combined, along with a still terrible netcode, and there's also the whole prowess issue that made Ranked mode even worse, just like SF6 MR system made Ranked mode even worse than it already was. Comparing all the big 3, MK1 is the best. Best fighting game story mode of all time and one of all gaming, incredible roster, amazing gameplay incredible roster graphics are gorgeous, the soundtrack kicks a$$, tons of replay value and duration in single player thanks to Invasions mode that actually has no design flaws like SF6 WT, tons of awesome skins and Gear to unlock, also the only fighting game out of the big 3 to have a Wi-Fi filter, great netcode, and the best Ranked mode of the big 3 with no crap like placement matches or prowess system. And is also the only one of the big 3 to not have any battle pass at all. MK1 is truly PHENOMenal! Also did you just say that Tekken 8 jukebox has no Ground Zero from Tekken 5??? That's like my favorite Tekken theme ever! That really sucks!

SF6 improved in some areas like the netcode, overall quantity of content and features. But sadly it's also still a super flawed game and in some areas it is even worse than SF5. 18 characters at launch is still not enough, Ranked mode is broken because of the placement matches and the MR system, character creation allows for only one character slot (unlike MK Armageddon or the SC games that had multiple character slots), and gaps between DLC characters are way too long. And worst of all, World Tour is a huge mess full of design flaws. No voice acting outside of the CG cutscenes, only two truly big maps to explore, next to know replay value after finishing the story and with all the DLC updates, arbitrary difficulty with too much health and damage for the AI along with terrible AI level, the masters don't really teach you their moves but only allow you to unlock via fetch quests (unlike in MK Deception), and so much more. And the worst part of it all, the story is EVEN WORSE than SF5's story and the ending of it is THE WORST ending in the history of all fighting games, and possibly in all of gaming.

I cant even lie sf6 is one of the best fighting games of all time for me. I play all of the big 3 of fighting games (mk1, tekken 8, sf6) and I must say I love all but like this game is just phenomenal. Its the type of game where u could literally play anytime, maybe u have to be in certain moods for the other 2, but this game is just all around great.

SF6 continues to have the worst battle pass in general. The items are so bad that they might as well remove it entirely
