Daydream in Blue
Daydream in Blue - a film by me.
This project is a very important one for me. We had the opportunity to create a work of art that is meaningful to us over this past semester. I gave myself 12 weeks to produce a digitally hand drawn animation using a software I had no prior knowledge of.
Although there were many ups and downs to the process of making this piece come to life, I learned so much and I couldn’t be happier with the final result. This project would not have been possible without the help of I Monster, who kindly let me use their song ‘Daydream in Blue’. I hope you enjoy the animation as much as I loved producing it 💙

this animation is really cool and the concept is great, but in the dream sequence it feels like the rate of movement is too constant which makes things feel a tad choppy. if things speed up as they transitioned and slowed as we saw what they transitioned into, it would make it feel more snappy and give a stronger effect.
