On Ian Garry you missed two of the biggest things. You mentioned if you watch him inside the cage, he's exciting. Yet if you do, you won't be that excited for an Ian Garry fight. He is a good upcoming heel for the WW division. But he's the one that when he talks, you just put it on mute until he's done. There is nothing that comes out of his mouth that is believable. The hate comes from what he tried to paint over Niel Magny, his refusal/unability to finish Magny, and the MVP fight. He was given a fan favorite for years, likely the most famous guy you could say from the Bellator scene. He came to the UFC and was entertaining to watch. When he was matched up with Ian Garry, we thought that we were gonna get an amazing striking match. Instead we had Ian Garry scared to strike with MVP whilst during the build up he said, he won't shoot and will trade with him and that he's the better striker. Then again.. he was getting clipped/rocked a bit by MVP. When you said idk how Merab got some fans from fighting Sean, I agree. Honestly, I have no idea how he gained some fans from that fight. Trust me if he fights someone else aside from Umar who can deal with his wrestling a bit, people will be reminded why we all hate him again. People forget that he refused to fight Jose Aldo and instead kept Aldo against the cage the entire time. No offense nor attempt to move towards a better position. Just stood there with Jose Aldo against the cage, and revealed that Jose Aldo was retiring to which he did for a while in the UFC until he came back.
