When I'm having a shit day, I tend to come back to soundtracks like Icewind Dale's, one of my favorite games, allows me to escape for a little a bit. Great compilation. I've been having a lot of shit days so I'll be here often, lol.

I finally played IWD 1 as part of a BG EET install. In some ways, its a lot better than BG 1. I modded in Icewind dale 2 as well which takes part in baldurs gate 2.

These mixes are always at the top of my list for background noise at work, a nice mix of new and old...!

I'm so glad that this yt channel exists. cRPG nostalgia, Star Trek TNG nostalgia...this stuff hits me right in the feels.

Although I LOVE Icewind Dale and prefer it to Icewind Dale 2, ‘Skeleton of a Town’ is one of the most beautiful pieces of fantasy music ever produced and I genuinely think Inon Zur actually outdid Jeremy Soule on that one piece of music alone… that being said, the Icewind Dale soundtracks alone are easily a collection of the greatest pieces of videogame music ever made. Again, especially ‘Skeleton of a Town’ - it’s music that physically makes me stop in the game world just to listen to it 😮‍💨 Heart of Winter overall just kicks so much arse! Pillars’ White March expansion was quite a sweet nod to it 😊

Just finished the destruction of Sarevok schemes.

By far the greatest composer of RPG game soundtracks....
