    You are a great bass player! would you consider doing some breakdown / lessons? They would be very popular.

    • @greatwhite61967
      @greatwhite61967 Рік тому

      Ok with respect to yourself as I don't mean to be in anyway shape or form disrespectful towards you but I it always seems to be the case that you'll say a particular person is a great player & then you sneak in " Doing some breakdowns/lessons? " I'm not 100% sure but there is a huge selection of bass players from way back the 50s until the 90s that are or were self taught & hence why you've had no reply!.. I too am self taught & spent an innumerable amount of hours every single day to teach myself bass guitar & I learned from so many various bass players on what was worth looking into & try a little experimentation... I'm really biting my tongue out of respect for you & the others that do this & honestly you need to be putting the time in yourself & working on your bass guitar every single day as to what to try & how something might sound better when played a certain way... Look , I get it & I understand that not everyone can teach themselves how to play the bass guitar but like us all self taught bass guitarist's we sat hunched over because our backs were hurting so much from sitting down & pulling each note out of a bass line we have heard & it's really go to have a great inner ear & that you , at times , don't need to put the song on as it's constantly playing in my head & then I search for the very first note & I slowly piece these bass covers 1 step at a time , as honestly you've got to earn your & that it can't just be given , but more often than note I landed on or roughly on each time but at times I knew the song so well I knew that a specific note or passage of music was wrong & so I backtracked to the point I felt I took a wrong fork on the road & they starting building up the bass lines to be on those specific places on the fretboard... Plus we had next to no music on TV Shows except one but rather than drag this out , I'd respectfully request that you don't way on someone who'll no doubt won't have breakdowns &/or lessons & I urge you , again respectfully , to not sit still for such things but teach yourself because as I've already said & ill add in that you can't phone in on instrumentals & songs & you have to earn your ability to play bass guitar , rather than wit to see IF someone will get back to you as I assure you this rarely happens because the bassist that's played this bass cover has to do certain things that needs his permission to do... It's not as easy as you think when setting up one's UA-cam Channel to teach bass guitar to beginners/intermediate & advanced... Why do you think that on a hugely massive website like UA-cam your rarely get a breakdown & tutorials don't always come Free Honestly cut the ambilical umbilical cord that makes you think you need teaching to be become a great musician , as an innumerable amount of millions of solo acts & bands decided to take the self taught rout , as frankly they couldnt afford it or they instinctively knew that they could do this by themselves... You'd be surprised & astounded at the amount of solo acts & bands that saw each member teach themselves the bass/lead guitar/drums & of course someone's natural ability to sing & keyboards/synths could also be within that character... Again with respect it's usually & always horn players/violinists & other more instruments that do need to be taught but many take this on to learn how to read music also... Unless your some type of player that can't see past your own inner talent that's being wasted by waiting on others to get back to you & no doubt you may have asked someone else the same question but , my friend , your doing yourself a disservice by not taking your own self taught abilities that can see years later you will eventually know all about how music is played & you can take your time to learn this but it isn't something you truly need to know... Think on how millions also self taught themselves & they became huge stars wthin the Music Industry but Please don't wait on someone else to get back to you & even this bass player that you looked at months ago might be self taught also , as I too have forgotten more bass lines by Level 42 than most but you need to have faith in your abilities & IF your asking about breakdowns & or lessons then maybe your closer to see you are not as far away from other bassists on UA-cam... The choice you chose to take is literally within your hands which can eventually see your making good to great process without needing a teacher as teacher or not this comes down to how you want to play & have your own distinctive sound... I truly wish You All The Best & don't be afraid to going down the same self taught way , as any such ways of playing can be changed to help you play better & faster but I've respectfully said my piece & it's down to you whether you want to do not much of anything or at least try to self teach yourself... The choice is yours alone to decide & I hope i at least helped you to come to a specific question & that you'll already know how to reply to such emails , as even Rome wasn't built in 1 day & cut yourself such some slack , as certain people have different ways of playing their bass guitar & some can learn quicker & some a lot longer....

    I bought a cheap Chinese Squire Stratocaster HSS style for $40AUD put new strings and professional set up and it’s playability and comfort is fantastic! I could believe it! Since my other is Ibanez JS1000! Squire is almost a good as the JS! Yes the pickups aren’t as good and tuning but that can be fixed if I choose to spend more money on it!
