Yes, you are Right. Some company don't. especially, the companies that are bringing barber tools from Chinese manufacturers are not really including some of these tool in their package. But some company does, such as the Wahl, Andis, TPOP or gamma do include ( 1/8 and 1/16 ) the equivalent of #1 guard and 0.5 in their package. But you can still check that out at a nearby local store' in your Area', check for Any shops that are dealing on barber tool, Ask for a one guard or zero guard. but if you have access to buying stuff online you can buy it on Amazon store, Andis or Wahl is preferable.

The andis guard system is better because it requires less guards or “steps” than the wahl guards. Is there really a huge difference between the two? Wel, I don't think, If the Masters opens from a 000 to a 1, what the point of the zero guard. So having half guards on the Wahl is mandatory because lever open is a 0.5, so you need the half guards to make it up. But With the Masters you can just open it half way and get a half guard. But generally I like to use Wahl clipper guards Another pair of guard you should also be looking at is tpob, in my opinion they have one of the best guards out there, especially with the single magnetic guard system, it's dupe.
