This is a media art project created with touchdesigner. And this project uses projection mapping and sensing technology. The interface was created with Arduino. Also, I used touchdesigner to create dynamic images and did projection mapping. 西村魁峰(Nishimura Kaiho) 【instagram】 u ssu/
Great tutorila.thanks for sharing your knowledge , i appreciate you🎉
Wonderfull Video So Thank you !!!!!! I hope you so Forever Happy !!!! Thank you for your teaching !!! Thank you !!!!
Thanks for the tutorial, whenever I drag my math1 over the metaball1 it gives me a list of export options. How do i drag and drop so it allows me to do the same as the tutorial? Thank you
Hi, is it possible to switch this mouse tracking into kinect motion tracking? thanks for the tutorial! any help will be highly appreciated
Hi! Im really excited about your video! Do you know how I can pixelate these waves (not decreasing quality, but make a special pixel style)?
Muy bonito
Arope🎉🎉
How to make copy of the type like your first opening video?
show
Great video, how do you change the range of frequencies that show on the spectrum? Say I only want the lower half to show up?
Very nice tut! but how to make the line persist and not cancel over time? and how to make the curves smoother with less segments? Thanks!
I love this, it s like I can move energy yeah! thank u!!!!
can i do this with my video input edge also ?
I’ve been looking for this for ages!!
SO AWESOME!!! Thanks for the keeping it simple and to the point.
thank you very much for this tutorial ! Loved it
Thank you 😊
Amazing tutorial, loved it. If this was a projection on a wall ,Could we make the particles follow the movement of a human hand ( if there was a kinect camera involved )instead of following the mouse?
There are a number of instances (going back about 10-15 years) of people using projectors to accomplish something similar, but it predated touchdesigner. Look at this one: ua-cam.com/video/EXz539vZKLk/v-deo.html
HI this has really been beautiful, please how do i allow it interact with my kinect, i'm new to TD, or please guide me to a tutorial on how to connect this with my kinect thank you
If you want to add math to the 9:03 metaball: you can use the CHOP To library. This worked for me.
Why is the Sinc type of the blur at 5:25 working totally different even with same other parameters? It just glows out into a thick white cloud, while all the other types work fine!
Did you change levelTOP - opacity?
what a great tutorial, thanks <3
2:42 how does null connect with geo?
Right click on the output-connector of null chop, then you can select operator and that is already connected.
thanx you men ...
Wow - love your work here. Thanks!
can we use kinect motion sensor instead of mouse to track particles with our body movement?
Yes, I have already tried it!!
@@kaihonishimura2772 wao great. can you please share how? i' working on similar project making interactive stuff for my final year project and i'm new to touch designer itwould be great help, thank you
@@visualnigar4471 i would really appreciate help with this too!
so i figured it out for anyyone with the same issue: you click the little star in the corner of math1 then you click on the screen of math1 and then you click on the screen of the metaball1 and then you choose weight
Hi, thank you for the tutorial, it's very helpful. I was wondering, is it possible if the particle was generated by a csv data?
Hey, thats very cool, thanks!
Is the audio muted? I can't seem to hear you talk at all :(
Sorry, I didn’t talk
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This is so awesome, although it was hard to understand your accent, lol. These tuts are soooooo helpful, thank you for sharing!
Thanks a lot! What music is playing? Love it :)
This includes touchdesigner samples. Put on audiofile chop so you can use this music file for default
Sounds like John Gaiser or something from the M_nus catalog back in 2007 ;)
Thank you so much!
No audio ?!?
Yes
great tutorial
Thank you♪
Hi! at time 9.03 you connect the math1 information to the metaball1 Weight just draging and when I do that, ask me "Export Chop, Chop Reference, Current CHOP value" and here is not asking anything... what am I doing wrong? Thank you!! Great tutorial :)
Thank you for watching It's normal, so it's okay. You should select chop reference or export chop. I'm sorry. I may have cut it when I made this video.
@@kaihonishimura2772 Hi, I am stuck at 9:03 step too as dragging math1 to metaball1 center/weight parameter doesn't change anything for me. any tips on what I might be missing??
@@kaihonishimura2772 same problem here... which parameter by the metaball should be used?
@@kaihonishimura2772 Im stuck on that part aswell, your cursor turns into this arrow shape but i´ve tried every click combination i know. what am i supposed to do from 9:00 to 9:07?
does anyone know a way to implement this into a website?
I'm sorry. I don't know, but I hope you solve that problem.
Nice well done!!!
すごく参考になりました。 ありがとうございます。
this is a bomb!
Hey there!! Thanks for the upload. Have you considered using SMZeus . c o m to increase your subs?
Never use it. Because such cheating is not worth anything.
curious.... my null will not connect to the geo node though and I can not figure out how to link them. Any suggestions for a beginner in the space?
thank you for your comment. that is simple but important tips. Right click on the output-connector of null chop, then you can select operator and that is already connected. By the way, you can make input-connectors by putting "in-sop" in geo-comp.
Nice! Do you suppose there is a way to click and drag an image and have it 'draw' almost like a brush?
thank you for your comment! It's a simple idea. 1. Add noise-top and composite-top. 2. connect out-top(it's already exist) and noise-top to composite-top.
which touch designer version you are using coz in non commercial version there is no sop available
Is sop not available in noncommercial version? I think it works, but what specific advice do you need?
@@kaihonishimura2772 sphere, rectangle and other shapes i m talking abt only 1 sop is available and not all
@@tishantdas8125 i use non-commecrial version 099 2020.25380 and i can use unlimited sop and top and other nodes. i repeated this project without problems
@@Good_ok same here
Super nice! Thank you for the upload! I've been trying to do this with the tabletCHOP instead of mouse, which works quite good, but do you have any suggestions on how to make the line stop when i remove the cursor? I wanna be able to draw stuff and maybe even use the penpressure for the thickness of the line.
Thank you for your comment. I'm sorry I can't see it because I don't have a tablet, but what's the reaction when you remove the cursor? Regarding the thickness of the line, you can change the thickness with radius by setting the output type of limitSOP to primitive circle at Each Point, but it seems not to be a very good method. sorry...
@@kaihonishimura2772 Thank you for your reply. No worries. I messed around with it a bit and achieved another interesting result by referencing the pressure of the tablet to forces effecting particles.
Did you ever revisit this? I'm trying to use this method to capture guest signatures and then redraw them later as they wrote it. Stuck on a way to stop the line so you can simulate lifting your pen. I'm just using a mouse rn, trying to figure out a way to "turn on/off" the line using a mouse click or something, but no dice. I imagine using an ipad + stylus eventually.
@@kylek992 Also just found this: ua-cam.com/video/33T5pHlm6ys/v-deo.html&ab_channel=prismaticvisuals
cool dude, keep it up!
thanks a lot)
how'd you find out that the range is -0.9 and 0.66?
Sorry for the late reply It's about 8:40, right? Please see the value of mouseinCHOP when I move the mouse pointer to the edge of the part displayed on the screen.
so cool
there is no sound to the video. can you re-upload this?
Sorry, I have no idea what is good sound for this.
great tutorial. Especially good demo on feedback and how to implement it easily and properly for an awesome effect!
