There old church pipe organ before this one was a EM. Skinner opus# 487. Ended up in claradon hills ,IL. Installed in the 1980,s until it was removed ..for parts in 1999..some of there older church members probably remember when it was removed in the late 1970,s anyways . So the old Skinner organ failed..in 1996..some of the old pipes .were reused in the new Martin ott opus # 93. Organ..pedal Bourdon.16 ft and a few other pipe sets . Some of the other pipes were reused around the Chicago area organs and a theatre organ in downers Grove ,IL ..some reeds pipes .. F.Y.I.

Sounds alot like the music I heard up on snow shoe west Virginia many years ago.

The music here has a stark beauty that isn't easy to grasp. It's far more challenging for this listener than alot of more familiar fiddle music.
