Beatles in Stereo Analog Vinyl! Let's Rally!
Inspired by videos by Mazzy and Michael (45 RPM Audiophile) I'm adding my plea to get the Beatles stereo catalog remastered and cut from the original tapes. If you agree, go to their videos and show support!

The Monkees' Peter Tork on Five All Night Live 1982
Переглядів 7 тис.3 роки тому
From 1982, Peter Tork of the Monkees is interviewed on Boston's "Five All Night Live" show in 1982. He talks about his then current band, The New Monks, who had just played at Somerville's Jumbo Lounge, as well as some Monkees reminiscing. R.I.P., Peter Tork
Such a beautiful smile.
Encantador y fantástico gran talento musical!! Ilove❤ Peter Tork forever!!!
FIVE ALL NIGHT LIVE SUCKED ASS! IT WAS DESERVEDLY CANCELLED QUICKLY!
Did you notice that Peter Tork was right on when he created this unreleased recording called Lady's Baby? Part of its lyrics says, chasing around isn't where its at. I name-called Peter Tork's band his torque wrench league. 🔧
He had a Casio calculator watch on.
Happy heavenly birthday, Peter. Luv you always! 💓
I'm referring Peter Tork to Ringo Starr. When he name-called his group, the all-star band.
He still has that adorable smile. Seems so sweet and genuine.
Why they can't just use the two track LP masters is beyond me. It's literally cue up the tapes, get the lathe going and have at. I'm not a fan of the 08 remixes, never have been. All the anomalies were edited out and sterilised for your protection like the toilets in a Super 8 motel. Not that George Martin got a knighthood for his bowl brushing prowess, but he showed some talent for it in 08. Sonically dead as Kelsey's nuts
I would love to have Peter as my teacher mostly music teacher as a very big Monkees fan hope we could sing/play some Monkees songs that would be super cool even if most kids in my class would have no idea
I saw a comment on a different video saying Peter had been their teacher, and he was very good. He also coached baseball at a few different schools during the same time.
Peter I hope you no how much you was loved also. You help make the Monkeys also what a guy you were also “we miss you much”
So missed. Now only Micky is left. Very sad.
Amen brother, amen!
Dave. Mazzy left a link to your channel. So I watched and subbed. Liked your call for analog Beatles albums. The reasonable price is the key.
Thanks for that! Great! I would buy the mono-box, but I think it's essential that the albums are also available individually, for people who perhaps can't afford the box and simply want to have some of the albums in mono. Even that is not possible at the moment! A few years ago I bought the mono albums individually for 30-50 € each, because the box was no longer available. Now the individual albums have become so expensive, just like the box! We fans absolutely need all Beatles albums analogue in mono and stereo! Now! And always! There's no way that's not the case! It's simply a catastrophe that there are no new analogue stereo versions until now, since the 80s. How can that be? The most famous band on the planet with perhaps the best preserved tapes and vinyl from digital sources????
I agree, The Beatles vinyl lp catalog DONE RIGHT, mono and stereo box sets and individually. I would like to see U.K. and Capitol issues(Rubber Soul, Revolver). BTW Great wall of records…!
My American RS is the Longines Symphonette record club pressing. It sounds better than Universal stuff ever has. It's probably the only original Beatles catalogue item that could be labelled as 'audiophile' quality
Yeeeeesss!!! 💥💥💥😊🤣🥰
Hey David thanks for jumping in on this !!!! Yeah ✌🏼😎
What a great person 🙏
I didn’t know he lived in Marin County
It was on WCVB-TV, Channel 5, which (I think) was the Boston affiliate for ABC.
Hey I live in Somerville! :)
Annoying
He did look a lot like Stephen Stills.
I never saw this one before. Absolutely love him!! He has been my life long crush. Such a good soul, and I miss him so much!! 😭😍 R.I.P. sweet Peter!! Thank you for sharing!!
Me too!
Still wearing the mismatched socks. lol
Who was the interviewer for this?
I believe his name is Dan Kain
@@davidsacco8521 Cheers, thanks. And thanks for putting this up....
Looks great, here! He didn't look too healthy when he was on Letterman around that time-- he got too thin or something and looked like he'd been on a "bender" but was supposedly sobering up by this point. Really missing Pete and Davy, and looking forward to Mike and Micky in Atlanta. Thanks for posting!
