Hi; For the Quechua speakers the "ll" and "y" are so diferent. For example "llapan"" and "yapan". The first mean all - everything, the second means its additional amount. Also "waylía" and "waylla" Waylía is an Andean mestizo dance and waylla refers to the greenish and young quality of the plant of early Spring. Illary means sunrise, a secret terminology and it sounds totally different from iyary or iliary. If you say iyary, the quechua speacker will asume you are mispronouncing the word "listen" "uyary" And if you say Iliary they will think you are looking for some one cold Ilia or saying what about Ilia? . For example if some one say thank you for an apple that you offered the unswer is chayllatapis. If if some one say thank you for a ride in my car, I will say hinallatapis. Note: Some people use either of them in any case.

Todos nuestros quechuas son muy bonitos y tienen sus originalidades. Son muy útiles los diccionarios del Ministerio de Educación del Perú de 1976. El diccionario del profesor Clodoaldo Soto tiene una versión trilingüe quechua-español-inglés. Para el dialecto del Cusco, es también muy bueno el diccionario trilingüe de los esposos Hornberger. Hola Gonzalo. Gracia spoe ver el video. Si. Hay una teoría de que Huaylía proviene de aleluya pero esto es incorrecto de acuerdo a mi punto de vista por varias razones: 1. Fonéticamente hablando son muy distintos. Uno empieza con "hua" y el otro con "a". "Lía" con "luya" son algo parecidos pero tienen ritmo muy distinto. 2. Los quechua-hablantes tranquilamente pueden pronunciar la palabra aleluya y no tendrían que modificar 3. No hay villacinos tradicionales españoles ni peruanos donde incluyan la palabra aleluya. 4. Villancicos son canciones de celebración, alegría y festividad por la llegada del niño Jesús. Aleluya es más serio y relacionado con semana santa, la muerte de Jesús. 5 No hay ninguna danza española parecida al huaylía, ni hay un genero musical con el nombre de aleluya o algo parecido. 6. Los españoles alteraron el nombre de esta danza incaica así como alteraron muchos nombres de lugares y personas por que no podían pronunciar o por que les sonaba muy quechua. Los criollos y los mestizos hicieron lo mismo con el afán de españolizarse. Saludos

Se dice . Pero tambien se toca en Puno Perú mas que todo en Yunguyo. Toda esa región era una sola antes de la división en paises conocida como el gran Tiahuanaco. Estos instrumentos son precoloniales y se usaban en toda esa zona. Y también hay que recordar que hubo mucho movimiento migratorio por la persecusión cultural después de la sublevación de Tucac Amaru. Es cierto que el pueblo de Mohoza ha conservado esa tradición mas que otros pueblos. Pero no se podría por seguro deciir que este instrumento se origió ahí. Hay muchos instrumentos parecidos en la culturas antiguas preincas de Nasca y Paracas hechos de barro y de bambú. Para evitar esa eterna discudión política regionalista ya cambié la descripción como "instrumento andino"

You cover the hole and blow into it. It is easier than any other flute in that aspect because you don't loose any air.
