Now I must comment. These all are shitty songs. I feel bad for the singers since they all sound bad to my ears. After all, Nightwish is chosen, but a bad song from them too. Number one for me would definitely have been Sleeping Sun.

First of all, thank you very much for your work. I found the many lesser-known bands interesting. The well-known ones come with the algorithm. The title is misleading. It's the video creator's personal top 20 and he likes opera singers. Penumbra, Coronatus, Sirenia, Nightwish, Therion and Xandria have many singer changes and only Penumbra shows the current one. Such bands are difficult to recommend because the character of the music has changed with each singer. At a concert you get something different than what you get here. Delain changed singers after the video was released. Leaves' Eyes has a change of singer and the video shows the current one. Frozen Crown is not a symphonic, but a power metal band and a very good one. They replaced the guitarist of Cuban descent with two guitarists. So now you have three guitarists and a bassist. I wouldn't introduce After Forever for two reasons: Firstly, the band no longer exists. Active musicians who now have to make a living from it and finance their music need my money. On the other hand, they had a terrible label contract and lost the rights to their music. Others are now pocketing the money. But the singer is the most famous metal singer and therefore has to be included here. But I would show her with her current band, Nightwish. Then Nightwish would be double because Tarja was shown with a Nightwish video. If you want to see Tarja today, you have to go to a Tarja concert, which is happening today. These are also worth recommending, but many Tarja fans only accept Tarja in conjunction with Nightwish. Amberian Dawn has a change of singer and the video does not show the current one. You get a different concert. Dreams of Sanity no longer exists and no longer needs my money. I would do a separate video with After Forever. Of the list, the ones I follow are: Anna KiaRa - Sirenia - Leaves' Eyes - Therion - Xandria - Epica - Nightwish. Amberian Dawn (Wow Heidi looks so young) , Within Temptation and After Forever to a much lesser extent. The others are okay too. As far as the order, if they are from least to greatest, I don't agree on placings.

Many new band in to my list. But nightwish is best! I dont care who sing, Tarja Anette or Floor. Every vocals are unique❤️ i love them all.

Strange that you have Per Aspera Ad Astra the Haggard cover, but not including Haggard! Along with your top 3, Leaves Eyes, Ignea, Molllust and Therion will all be in my top 10. You can also add Visions of Atlantis (Austria), Ad Infinitum (Switzerland), Exit Eden (USA), Evanescence (USA) and Arch Enemy (Sweden), although thay can also be discribed as Death Metal. Molllust, fronted by Haggard soprano front woman Janika Gross, could be operatic metal, which for me is about the same as symphonic and melodic metal. Any way, a good list. Pleasantly surprised to see Ignea (my profile picture was taken with Helle Bogdanova, the lead singer and Evgeny Zhytniuk, the band leader in Kyiv August 2021 :-)

Floor Jansen The Best. A melhor de todas que já ouvi é a Floor Jansen, não tem comparação. Gostava mais quando estava no After Forever, mas ainda curti quando foi para o nightwish. Ela canta com a alma.

Great list, I was not aware of a few of them but they are really good. Props on early Nightwish, would like to have seen some later as well. They are on such a higher level than the old stuff but both deserve the recognition.
