On a whole the kpop industry is very structured. However, BTS was given freedom to write, composed, and produce their own stuff. They were also given license to invent their concepts. BTS does have an in-house group that helps and advises.

Rm was signed and started training in 2010. The other members started training between 2010 and 2011. Jimin was the last sign in May 2012. They debuted in June 2013.

This is NOT a break up song. It is one big FU to all their haters, and they have many. Each has been targeted by hate from social media. Most notably Lisa that was threatened with physical violence so much so that the Thai embassy felt compelled to get involved. If you don't know, numerous Kpop Idols have been driven to suicide by hateful social media attacks. And this is Blackpink's response to those haters. This video is particularly deep in symbolism, and there at least 5 UA-cam videos that explain on a scene by scene basis the symbolism in Greek mythology (e.g., "British Priest Reacts to How You Like That" where a Cambridge educated graduate in Greek Classism explains the symbolism), basically having to do with women being victimized and then overcoming their oppressors. The depth of symbolism is way beyond anything you see from Western acts regarding a serious issue.

I recommend their song "I Cant Stop Me" as Twice's MV, it has a retro vibe, it is the song that made me a kpop fan..If you want to have fun and increase your energy, I recommend "The Feels", full in English. If you want to slow down a bit and relax by shooting a peaceful video, "I Got You" is the best option for you.
