Endless Road Strings and Caleb Coots at the CAAS workshop in Nashville. This tune is called 'Diana', by Thom Bresh. He wrote it on Sept 6, 1997. Bresh had come home from a late Friday night show and turned on the TV to relax a little. All channels were covering the funeral of Princess Diana. By the time it was over he had composed this piece. Probably the most beautiful tune he ever wrote, and ...

For many years the Endless Road Strings have been attending the CAAS convention in Nashville. They provide beautiful string arrangements to back up many of the performers. Recently they have begun offering a workshop where attendees can play one of the 'standard' repertoire and experience a professional string accompaniment. Of course, soloists don't always play a tune the same way every time s...

The Strung Up Sisters with a nice duet arrangement of Borsalino at open mic performances in Nashville during CAAS 2024.
Honored Chris.
Lovely
nice cover of the chain
Very good! Song name at 9.10 is Ol' brother hubbard..Tommy :)
Great show😊
I'm sorry, but solo slide guitars set my teeth on edge like a solo violin. Both have their places, but god, that unholy sound.
I once saw Steve and Karen walk by when my wife, daughter and grandkids were waiting outside of Pucket's in Franklin to have lunch. Steve stopped to visit and say hi to all of us. A true gentleman, and in my opinion, the finest and most creative artist around!
Love this dude , 100% musician!!!
Really nice guitar Chas, from Mark in Sussex England.
Now my 2nd favourite musical piece, after tea party's winter solstice. Love this so much, easily one of the finest guitar work ive ever heard. The transient tempo transitions are perfectly timed
Caleb, great traditional country music ! CG
Play a Paul coz you look like Les.
Thanks Ron ........much appreciated ( PS her name is Astrid)

Tommy the roadie.
What make of guitars are the Strung Up Sisters playing?
Tyler Harmon is the next Michael Hedges. I'm sure he'll be his own person.
Awesome. I missed going this year ... I'll be back.
Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your totally incredible talent.
Nice piece, Pascal 👏
My god!
What a wonderful tribute to Chet for these young 'thumbs' to be encouraged and featured ... And for the 'masters' John, and Tommy to be the ones introducing them is beyond words ! Chet is so proud !!!!
👍👍👍👍💥💥👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
another amazing player!
really enjoyed your set my friend amazing!
Just so good in the pocket...such good feel...
You play this really well academically. You can break it up into passages. Your fingers are perfect. You have the talent to make these tunes more than just transducing what’s on a page. More life! Expressiveness. Range. You have the nerves and muscles. Listen to the very best renditions by other players and not just on the piano. Then record yourself and compare and you’ll see what I mean. You have the goods
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anybody play don’t think twice in any key other than C. Interesting. Leave it to Jerry Reed.
These CAAS 24 cameos are great
I was very impressed by the young gentleman who played the Fleetwood Mac song. Great talent.
Genial phil...nice to hear you on this Liebestraum tune from Liszt. Great! Limehouse?? Liebestraum???🤔 I think you're right for Limehouse
Nice to see you come back Phil Hunt! It is great to hear you singing Jerry's song! it's a great pleasure. No opportunity to come to CAAS from France, but I hope to come at less one time and to meet you and to hear you. you are among the guardians of the work of jerry reed in all memories. Thanks. Gildas
So clean
That’s some good picken bud
Who is this woman? She’s incredible.

I have worshiped this kind of music since I first heard it at the age of 15. I heard a hippie playing Freight Train on an acoustic guitar and that led me in weeks not months for the coffee houses of Philadelphia and a whole life that I would not have known about perhaps had I not heard that single acoustic guitar in the halls of my high school as I walked by a classroom. Nor would I have known that friend that that guitarist became. And my vector into the whole genre of music. What a gift. I got bad by these standards but I have enough technique and repertoire bits that I can fashion a defensible groove that is within my skills! And so I have fen. But who is this guy? My God. I even went to CAAS2019. I have never heard of him. Is it me, or is it him? Does everyone else know who he is?
That's Eddie Estes!! He has been attending CAAS for many, many years. Usually plays with his pickin' buddy Phil Hunt. Two of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet.
Walking bass going up against a melody going down and harmony. Big deal. Lol!
Nice. Smooth it out.
Totally Fantastic! Great singing and great Gretsch. What could be more perfect! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talents.
mad skills. put in the hours. very natural sounding and in the pocket. plays older than he looks...(edit: man, he's phenomenal. Just wow.)
beautiful song.
I have the identical Gretsch. The Broad-Trons sound much better than Filtertrons in my opinion. It's really great to hear someone play these old Chet tunes instead of the usual fare. I especially enjoy tunes taken from Chet Atkins at Home and Mr. Guitar LPs. Mighty fine pickin' gents !!
Isaac is great. Where else but CAAS could he walk around the halls and pick up a couple of sidemen like that?
Nice!..................................................
