As for installation. Just create a new folder in the directory. And name it mods. Thats where you drag the mod into. Thats it.

btw, after ur finished with raptor, a good replacement that you might want to consider is "Nebula Fighter". It's another banger from around the same year, instead of a top down view, ur flying from left to right. Raptor gets kinda repetitive once you get the best weapon, whereas Nebula Fighter offers something new every single time.

It's OK to save sometimes. Just don't spam it. It doesn't mean you're not good. I like this stage too. A save crystal would've been where the music starts for the next puzzle room with Thor, etc are.

It's okay if you use the Genesis controller because this game came out with directional buttons in mind anyway. Originally on Saturn which is an identical control scheme. And before twin dual sticks. I'm glad to see you do tank controls at least. To get the accurate jump right, use the walk button to align yourself as you'll never fall off platforms. And hopping back equals one square, flipping roll equals one square and she'll run and jump after one square. Think in a grid manner and you've got it down. Fun video. Thanks for sharing.

You might wanna try "Spongebob - The Movie" for Dolphin if you're into that kinda thing, or Super Mario Sunshine Eclipse mod. It's basically a new massive campaign mod that took a team over 4 years to make. It came out like 3 months ago.

This was a childhood favorite of mine. Glad to see you're enjoying it. You should play on rookie. A big part of the game is weapon economy. On rookie you can focus on killing every enemy and experimenting with weapons

Why are you trying to move to another (harder) sector when you’re already struggling in Bravo? I told you Auto-Pilot is the intended path, that's where you make money to upgrade your ship. You’ve got no shield, weak weapons, and zero chance of surviving. And why spend $63,000 on missiles when you can get them for free? All you’re doing is rebuying them, losing them again, and then rebuying without upgrading your ship while the levels get harder. If you lose your primary weapon, restart. Only spend money on things like health, nukes, shield, and the rest of the weapons that the game doesn’t give you for free.

I told you this game was going to be worse than ETM lol. It's up to u whether you wanna drop it or not if you no longer enjoy it and start a new series with the pan1sh€r. I'll be very interested to see what flaws you find in that game. The PC version obviously.

The last time I played this was when it first came out in 2017. In fact, he completely removed a fully functional area that had water elevators due to being "too difficult". You had to jump from one to another as they ascended. I remember getting stuck in the same area as you did. A little spoiler alert: at least in my version, you had to climb this structure at 42:25

Damn, okay, I should have clarified a few things initially. First and foremost. 1. Always select Auto-Pilot. It basically loads you into the intended level. Those other sectors are actually completely different later/harder chapters. I’m not sure why the game allows you to load chapters that were never supposed to be played from the beginning. 2. I don't personally think it’s that hard, once you get used to it and figure out how each ship attacks, you can start to see it coming. The shadows always give you a solid second to prepare. 3. Now that’s unfortunate, but if you trigger the alarm when your health drops to 10%, you lose your weapons. Which means not only do you lose firepower, but you can't sell them. So be careful with that. 4. You might want to control the ship using your mouse. You can maneuver much faster, though it’s a bit sensitive. I really like how far customization goes in this game. 5. This game has been in the process of being remade since 2021 by the original developer. They’re adding more weapons, features, co-op, levels, bossfights etc. It was definitely a banger and beloved by many back in the mid-90s. How about live-streaming it today?

Oh damn, i didn't know you also were into 90's top down view vertically scrolling shooter games or whatever they're called, if that's the case, do you know "Raptor: Call of the Shadows"? That game was dominating in the 90's. And the founder is currently working on a remake. Definitely check this game out if you haven't already. 2 more recommendations for those type of stream would be Nebula Fighter, and Zulu Assault when it comes to those games.

Funny enough, I don’t know this game well, but I noticed two major flaws in your playstyle. First, you hardly ever used FOCUS. And second, at 27:00, you should let Trinity distract him while you run away and regenerate health. Sometimes you need to think outside the box, you made it harder for yourself. This game is a lot more versatile than Enter the Matrix, so maybe you need to take your time to get used to it. I mean, pretty much all early 2000s games have something clunky about them. Even san andreas was getting HELLA junky sometimes.

I'm confused, you mostly said positive things, and the title says it has gotten boring to play? and why does it say enter the matrix? btw, the combat isn't just one button, you will be given tons and tons of combos as you progress, but yeah, personally i still prefer enter the matrix, this one is based on the movies, which is why it isn't as 'matrixy' in the beginning

btw, here's another tip: strafe running makes you run faster, which means you can jump further.

Watching Turok after Doom, this game looks and feels like its a century ahead in terms of graphics and mechanics, damn! That's crazy considering the Alpha version was already out in 1996. Turok gets very little credit when it comes to FPS evolution/advancements.

Bruh... as a fellow subscriber, I gotta say, I’m not enjoying this anymore. Why not play something a little less repetitive? I don't want to unsub, I like your stuff, but this is getting boring af. Don't you think 50 Doom videos in a row is enough? At least mix it up with something else. I even suggested 3 solid games that are way better than this dusty crap. Maybe try some Turok 1 mod. Mountain Of The Sun? Even Enter the Matrix, kept you more on your toes, it wasn’t the greatest game, but at least it was fun because you had to think things through and didn’t know what was coming next. This one is pretty much looping.

I kinda miss these lets plays lol, would you consider making a speedrun of evolution? even if you fail it would still be hella fun to watch, there is a new "glitchless" category too, so you don't have to learn any skips, just the intended path, actually you will be the first one to attempt it, i'd say go for it

have you played turok 2008 before? its kinda trash, but i would still stick around for that if you're going in blind and give your criticism as you're progressing

It's just something about the classics. It just has that appeal. I started out late playing Doom so played more modern FPS but this vibe and thrill they were going for and objectives are more exciting, despite being simpler.

Sonic is a platformer and I love Marble Zone. Sonic wasn't a mindless platformer game. And looked how quick you got through it too.

I enjoyed your "Enter the matrix" let's play. And honestly, I highly suggest "Matrix path of neo" (2005) which was WAY better (better mechanics, combos, gunfights, etc ...). It's one of the best licenced game on the PS2 ;)
