The ProVS Mini is definitely underated, it now has 5 note polyphony with the latest update, with ensemble and reverb in addition to the chorus effect it already had. There's just something so organic organic about that analog filter... yet the synth can sound like a digital synth, an analog synth- so versatile.

the pro vs mini is easily a $500+ device for what it's capable of.

Got one of these when it launched, sounds great, tons of cool patches (some paid) but never bothered with the built in sequencer, it might be fine but got an ep-133 for xmas so gonna use that to program instead. Great sound by thee way!

the 2.0 firmware was a huge refresh on an already awesome little device. just tonight i watched another video on the roland s1 saying it was the ultimate drone machine, grabbed my pro vs mini and found all the same functions. not bad for a device a third the price.

I definitely would've made different choices, but I have to admit I really liked how pitching down the vocal sample made that singer sound just like Thurl Ravenscroft. I've always loved Thurl's voice. I probably would've taken that and tried to make a much darker track with it.
