Her hip joints look terribly uncomfortable.....there must be a better way to position legs without extending legs so far apart. Consider how an elderly woman's hips will feel after lying like this for an hour or two.

Nice video, good explanation.
Dance lady dance... poor video. poor technique
Thank youuuu from sweden
Think carefully about the passage of the surgeon's hands into the stretched gloves. A portion of the outside of his cuff is contaminated because of the stretching. This must be considered when changing gloves during an operation is required.
This is really fascinating
Where is langenbeck retractor??
Very nice
Great, what's the name of the manufacturing firm for this set?

Are these rules actually followed in the real world, or are they just the medical school ideal scenario?
Some things are followed… especially when it comes to Sterility & Aseptic Technique. However, once you get into the actual OR, you’ll see for yourself.
I started watching without reading the note...Whew! So glad this horrible display was done on purpose! Excellent! Good test for us students!
This is very informative. It is interesting to be able to compare what we do in Africa and what happens in a developed country. Thank you very much for giving me a glimpse in this.
Thank you so much for the wonderful lecture.

This is a perfect, all inclusive video for retractors. I wish you had included a label for their name
This is a really good step by step. A lot of pertinent information that was needed which was an eye opener on how I need to be aware draping the patient and hand movements. Thank you, the explanations made sense.
Awesome
