2021 Can Am Maverick X3 Max X RS Turbo RR with Smart Shox
Traded in the Outlander Xmr in October of 2020 for this beast! I currently have about 25 hours on it. It’s definitely wide on the trails but the smart shox are worth it in my opinion. The different modes really change the dynamic of the vehicle. When I’m just cruising on the trails I leave it in comfort mode and you barely notice the bumps. On the tracks I throw it into sport + and it works wonders around the bends. The only accessories I’ve added since October have been a synthetic warn winch, front bumper, and some side view mirrors that I got on Amazon for $100. Will be posting more videos on this sxs once the weather warms up.

Skip to 1:00 to see me get stuck! I was finally able to go out and record some more footage. Unfortunately i wasn't able to get into some of the deeper mud holes because the person i went with was riding a dirt bike. I didn't want to have to constantly bother other people to help me out nor did i want to have to pay the towing fees at Durham Town. Nothing too exciting but hopefully ill get some...

Recently went to Moto Mountain. All the rain made for some fun riding! Still haven't gotten a true snorkel, but luckily can am set their air intake pretty high on this XMR.

I went to Durham town this weekend! Definitely learning more about this atv and how it performs. I realized that in certain situations it's best to throw it in low when it's in four wheel drive. Looking into getting a snorkel kit, skid plates, and a new exhaust soon! Stay tuned for more videos! Support my video by hitting that like button! :)

Bought one yesterday but only goes 15 mph why I can’t find an emergency brake or nothing what’s the problem?
You have to wear the seatbelt. When the seat belt isn’t being used it limits your speed. If it is buckled and it still doesn’t go over 15 mph then you might have to get it checked at a dealer

Yeah that’s the one I have. The wider 72 inch maverick and it fits perfectly on the trailer. It has a few inches on each side to spare.

What’s the length of that trailer
It’s a 16 foot trailer. Fits on there well. I believe it could have fit on a 14 foot version. But that’s a maybe. If I remember correctly the specs say the sxs is about 13.5 feet long. That might be without the bumpers.

The smart shock and the one that dont has the smart shock, what difference it has?
The model with smart shocks has a wider footprint (due to the suspension) and it’s adjustable electronically for different dampening modes.

If you tune it just with the evo stage 2 tune you will go over 100 very quick

Would that backrest work well if you had a passenger on the seat with you? I have an 850 XMR and want to get one for the wife riding on the back
Not really because they would have to hold onto the driver. If you check out my other videos you’ll see that I got the actual passenger seat instead. The actual passenger seat comes with handles so the rider can hold on and it’s more comfortable. I paid about $200 for the backrest and returned it, then I got the passenger seat for a little over $500 If I remember correctly. Plus I never sat far back enough to use that back rest so it was useless for me.

Canadian Swamp Donkeys is it not compatible? Oh it’s because of the shorter frame, right? At first they told me the seat wasn’t compatible with my atv when I got it, but it was. I mean it could be, but I will tell you that the back rest is semi hard.
Canadian Swamp Donkeys If it’s not compatible then i would recommend one of those rear cargo storage that also act as a seat or sometimes just have padding for your back

Brockula 13 I got it at the dealer but I didn’t really find it useful. I ended up getting the actual seat instead.
@@INCGerardo97 do you still have the bracket for drivers backrest attached with the new passenger seat installed or you had to remove it out completely ? Beautiful machine btw.
Naychurkal not anymore. I returned the entire backrest. The passenger seat doesn’t require it. Thank you!

Jason Cooper overall its a good machine and I don’t regret buying it! I personally haven’t pushed it to its limits because I don’t want to risk sinking it or breaking something. Congrats man! You’ll definitely enjoy this bike if you plan on doing a lot of mudding!

Jason Cooper thanks man I’ll make sure to give it a look! Where is Boggs and boulders? One thing I want to do in the future is to go ride in the Grand Canyon. I was reading that there’s an area where you can take your atvs or if one wants they can rent one there.
@@INCGerardo97 It is located in Andalusia Al. The wife and I were just out in Vegas and toured the Canyon. They have a lot of Government land that is open to the public for recreation. About where do you live. We are in North west Florida. Pensacola area.
Jason Cooper I might have to make another road trip to the Grand Canyon this summer with some friends then! I’m located in the Metro Atlanta area in Georgia! Whenever I go to Durham town (Union Point) it ends up being a 2 hour drive and a 1 hour drive to Moto Mountain (Fairmount)

For Sure! in my opinion it should have came with a true snorkel and aluminum skid plates without having to shell out extra money! There's always room for improvement!

Definitely would like to stop in Georgia for some riding. Heading to mud nats in March as well as muddy bottoms but I don't think I will have enough time to take a detour. Going to put moto mountain on the list for sure.

She looks fast on that drag race. Looks like the low gear on that 1000 could pull a heavy trailer well. I’m thinking about getting one. Just also need it work as well as mud.

I have the same machine but the 2018 and it’s great on the trail after those ITP’s were removed and replaced with Sedona Rip Saws and bead locks . Can’t complain a lick . Our Highlifter definitely falls short in the trail riding topic .
