Fo76 failed cause of pvp

Never had time for PvP foolishness. I like being immersed in the game, not being annoyed by other players.

Pvp is no fun, too many cheaters. Not all of us are complete ashholes, take a knee fool.

2024 and this partial pvp is still in the game. My wife, brother inlaw and I trying to earn extra stuff from claiming workshopes and 2000+ players comes to harass us. PVE mainly gamestyle and should be just pve. But instead we have these mixed crap. What bethesda should do is have it so you can't use special perks, can't use god weapons and finally no level differences so it can be a fair fight in pve "bring each player to same level which can disable certain weapons" My wife doesn't want to play this game anymore because a 2000+ level player kept following us into other servers even with blocking them.

I still play fallout 76 (but would have tried pvp), but never did pvp since i was there at the beginning when folk were duping and hacking and the devs showed 0 interest in clamping down, boycotted nuclear winter and survival mode because of it, was never among the folk that wanted to see pvp taken out but with that said nor did I cry any tears when all the Aholes had to go grief elsewhere in other games.

This is what happens when a community of PVE single player gamers, face the reality of losing for the first time in video games to people that have been pvping for a decade.

This is just my opinion, but I believe pvp now sucks as well. At the release of 76, pvp was so much more fun. MY OPINION, NOT FACT. THIS IS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

I am new to the game but not fallout, I’m level 22 started from level 1. This game is way too easy, and so when I hit level 6 I went searching for survival mode, to my disappointment it was no where to be found. Playing the previous games I always played on survival and so I incorporated my style of play into this game and I have t died one time, I haven’t gotten one illness and I am never hungry or thirsty. It’s actually underwhelming. That doesn’t mean I’m not having a good time, I am but it’s really missing those high anxiety moments of having status effects and scrounging for ammo and being surrounded by super mutants. I got “scared” one time and it was my early level when I had preconceived notions based on my previous fallout game experiences. So it’s been both fun and uneventful if that makes sense. It really actually feels more of like a kids game than a post apocalyptic survival experience. I’m still going to play it till the end and all but like it’s just way too easy. They could at least make it available for private servers in gameplay settings so that they won’t have to add a whole other tab. Idk it’s just way too easy that’s my main complaint my second complaint is the npcs are really dumb and move like shit and run away but never miss a shot even if they’re behind a wall. I think the scaling enemy levels with the players is a mistake as well because it makes it so that you know what you’re dealing with every single enemy. Theres no suprise “holy shit how am I to fight this thing” moments. Then to have multiplayer where 6 people are fighting monsters that give no challenge to the players at all. It’s a steam roll everytime. Basically it’s a small inconvenient mini game you have to do in order to get rare stuff. But it’s just as easy if not easier than just lone wandering the game, at least there you have a chance of fighting 10 enemies at once and you may die, but never so. Like dying feels harder to do than beating the actual game.

PvP is a joke in this game. With only a few viable builds. PvP is just dumb on this game. Usually the only people doing PvP on this game, are crap to average on other PvP games. Far better games for PvP.

I'm a bit late to the party but it was 100% Bethesdas fault. Their refusal to fix exploits/duping and NukaCola chugging did the PvP in this game no good.

In D&D, PVPers are considered murder hobos. A failed Fallout version of Fork Knife is what you have. Separate servers in FO76 is like GTA V. Bad sport lobbies for PVPers, and then they whine that other PVPers are better than them. They lack skill and only want to mow down players that have never played PVP and are innocent with no challenge to their modded, duped or career level characters. When faced with the Mike Tyson of PVPers, noob PVPers rethink their lives and want easy targets.

I love PVP when it's a fair fight. Like 20+ vs 20+ PvP. Hate when people try to PvP me when I'm like a hug level gap between me and the guy who trying to fight in PvP. For example yesterday a nice 25 vs 30+ player nice even match but today someone asshole how is level 400+ trying to pvp me and most likely was using hacks able to one shot me even though i don't expect the challenge. I normally do mine PvP but when you start gaining up on player and become a 1 vs 2 and both are way above my weight class it becomes no fun.

Just bought the game and in the process of getting it refund. What's the point of playing that game if there is no Pvp interactions?? What a fking snoozefest. If I play alone I'd rather play Fallout4 which is what Im doing.

Good thing too whole reason I stayed away so many seasons was I could never beat the game without being hunted some of my best friends came from playing pve in 76 so disagreed go play cod if your that hard up to kill people

I recently just started playing a couple weeks ago, there should be more PVP modes, or even a part of the map that is like the wild west if you go there, you have a chance to be killed by any player

I remember creating a PVP specific character only for PVP to get completely scrapped from this game. I was so disappointed.

People saying PVP is fun, yeah, its fun. But here is the thing. Every pvp'er is either stacking, quantoms, Stealth boys, Going to events where they trap people into a pvp altercation, legacies(Before they were removed), etc. Pvp is fun in games and i do agree, but the toxicity that comes from 76 is wild. Doxing, booting, ip pinging, etc. Overall I would be perfectly fine if they just removed it all together. Id rather kill a queen and chill with my friends than over hear an argument between pvp'ers about how the opposition is stacking when they straight up have the aim of a fu**ing corpse. (I DO UNDERSTAND THIS WAS A PVP COMMUNITY SEVERAL YEARS AGO, but it doesnt change that it still became what it has today.)

Not a PvP player myself, but to me it would seem like a good solution to add a function to choose either PvE or PvP when you log into a server, so you have to choose between them and be locked in for the session in said mode. And choosing PvP could enable Leaderboards, bounties and all that good stuff, and choosing PvE vould just give you the regular experience. It makes it so that you have to choose and have to log out to wimp out of PvP mode. Seperate servers is an option, but doesn't work too good to get people hyped on trying the PvP function, so seeing it in action while playing PvE. So letting all players see the leaderboard and bounties can give insentive to test it for themselves. Just some thoughts on how it can be fixed under the current system.

FO76 launched as a large empty world with loot spewed about and the ability to build bases. PERFECT FOR SURVIVAL PVP. but pve players ruined that. it could of been like ark/rust/dayz/scum. Imagine if it had selectable servers and you could start a faction, recruit players into it, build a base, and wage war against others factions. it would of been the coolest pvp survival game to date but instead....its dead thanks to the snowflakes.

Being hunted and robbed by players who play 21 hours a day. Not fun. Not balanced. Especially gor new players who will never have a chance.

If you play this game looking for pvp find another game or even better just kys.the sweaty tryhards who fill these games looking to ruin everyones game for barely a reward are parasites. Go play call of duty.

Pvp nowadays is usually just one person being invincible and somehow instakilling the other person basically.

I used to love pvp but all it is now is aid spam or bug abuse like pa stacking I don’t wanna sit there and fight someone using 900 nuka quantum’s or stealth boys and correct me if I’m wrong but in that game mode you could only fast travel to train stations and that’s why I ended up giving up on the mode entirely cause ppl would just chameleon camp every one
