It always makes me laugh how stupid and hypocritical fans are to expect someone to win less and get paid less. Nobody would turn down more money and a better chance of winning trophies if they were in these guys position but they seem to expect them to blow it up the wall purely because of loyalty. What's even more laughable is that clubs will never show the same loyalty fans expect of a player. Clubs have shown time and again players are nothing more than assets and if the asset is no longer worth it then they are thrown away, maybe fans should should hold their clubs to the same high standard as they expect of the players and then their demands might be more reasonable.
