[ABF Mud Run - Events and Training]
The ABF 10K Mud Run was started by Chad Mason, founder of Above and Beyond Fitness. Chad is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist who started personal training in the Marine Corps in 1993. By combining strength, speed, balance and endurance in to his training sessions, Chad sees dramatic transformations in those he trains. Whether preparing for an event of just looking to get in shape, Chad will make it happen.
In the interest of contributing to charitable organizations with his "pay it forward" mentality, combined with his background and expertise in fitness, Chad created the ABF Mud Run. The first-ever run was held on Nov 5, 2011 by Chad and his friends from throughout South Jersey. The program, entering its 3rd season this year, has grown to 800 participants and expanded to traveling up and down the East Coast, supporting additional charities.
