Yet another shitty A.I. narrator.
AI reader? Laughable
Your views to sub ratio needs praise and emphasis. Quality is top notch sir I like your style and images
Holy crap, three-hundred-meter long torpedoes? That's bigger than most ships in our own modern era
Their battleships fire our battleships at each other
1 overlord class battlecruisers is enough to bring down an entire nation in our current day
Great video, void warfare is sorely lacking the attention it deserves in the 41millenium. Conflicts of just a few cruisers and escorts so apocalyptic in scale yet majestic by there very nature. Floating warmachines housing entire generations of fathers, mothers, duaghters, sons, grandparents and so on. All keeping these floating leviathans fighting in the name of the mankind. Pivitol in the fate of entire star systems or subsectors..perhaps its the scope of the conflicts that are hard to grasp and we must focus our minds to somthing smaller like a handful of guardsmen protecting there last bastion. Hero's those guardsmen are yes but what of the rating and the humble guncrews who man the very weapons that consighn that very planet to death via exterminatus..
Hey, great script and I enjoyed the video. I think the background music is a touch too loud. You also might consider adding some distortion to the voice you're using to make it sounds either like a Khornate berserk talking about Khorne or like your a mechanicus tech priest recounting archival data. Kedp going strong!
I love the art at 4:30 because it's easy to forget Imperial ships weren't always floating cathedrals. That happened later as the Imperium became a theocracy. During the GC (presumably the period this artwork is supposed to depict) they looked more like your typical sci-fi space battleships. Clean shapes, very functional
You can tell, traitor warships have more of that star destroyer vibe, and they are ancient craft, unlike the newer ships.
Love it when the AI voice has a malfunction 😂
this has strong luetin vibes, going from the choice of wording and presentation
Some wild pronunciations of several words - let’s just say it was spoken by a servitor on the fritz.
lets just say its AI generated
Great video. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Thankyou for your efforts.
Why get AI too read ur script? It spoils it. Otherwise enjoyed...
I hate Ai narration Just read if yourselves
What’s the issue ? Producing these lore videos for us to watch takes an awful lot of time and effort which I for one appreciate, especially quality productions like this. People have families and jobs to juggle as well. If you cant be supportive don’t say anything.
Who the fuck is this guy lol. No one cares
Some people just don't have the voice for radio
It’s the pronunciation of some words. It ruins the flow. I get the guys point. Ultramariiines for example 😂
You're getting the format down. More videos like this and the subscribers will come flocking. You gained a sub with me. I'll be watching new uploads. It's this your voice or an AI voice? Doesn't matter to me, it's just surprising how far AI audio capabilities have come.
I chose to do an AI voice because i thought it would fit the theme of the cult mechanicus more than what i could do with it! I appreciate the kind words.
just discovered you, always down for a quality 40k channel, much love
cheers dude i appreciate that
Nice! Just before you'll go all in... I'd double check if you can use "Cult Mechanicus" without problems on GW side, if you would have to rename, better earlier than later 😉
thats a good point i hadn't thought about but i don't expect they will notice a tiny channel like this one.
The legally distinct names are always a good idea. Should you have some growth and then get smacked with cease & desists or other wrangles, it would be a channel rename / rebrand and starting over to a certain extent. Worth looking into to say the least. Cheers all the same.
Khorne once bested his three brother gods within the Great Game, declaring war on God of Pleasure after ascending to the position of strongest among the four. Overmatched and alone, Slaanesh called for a truce in return for information on Tzeentch: the God of Magic had a mighty weapon older than even the Chaos Gods within the Vaults of Aegis. Despite himself, Khorne was swayed and resolved to acquire this ebon blade from Tzeentch, reasoning that he should have it by rights as the Patron of Warriors and Slaughter. This became an obsession; Khorne forged a pact with Nurgle, ceding territory for assistance in battle against Tzeentch. Tzeentch could not hope to prevail against the pair alone and at last, Khorne came to hold the storied sword. He had vanquished Slaanesh, bent Nurgle to his will, and humbled Tzeentch and his satisfaction was so great that it nearly eclipsed his wrath. The sword is symbolic of that victory and Khorne swore it would never leave his side.
I love the narration, great insight to this Chaos God
This is voiced by AI yes?
It is indeed. May the blessings of the Omnissiah be with you.
Only voiced? Or scripted too?
Good luck to you! As someone who loves the Cult Mechanicus, I'm excited to see where you take your channel. I'm not even upset about the AI voice; it at least fits your theme. In an attempt to assist, I noticed some errors: Omnissiah is pronounced multiple ways during the video; there is a skip at 5:22; your AI voice mispronounces Omnissiah at one point, there are a ton of mispronunciations around 6:35 until 7 minutes or so when it gets mostly better; 10:06 is a Dreadnaught rather than what I'm guessing you thought might be a Knight; and STC Templates is redundant. :)
I know there are still some technical difficulties but that is the will of the Omnissiah. Prehaps with time and the right rituals and blessings it will get better.
Well done. Subbed!
Much appreciated!
Just keep going dude, you'll start hitting critical mass that leads to upwards momentum soon. You have a great subject and a great voice, which will equal great content that people will flock to. Just don't stop, even if you're not getting the results you like just keep going. By the way I find the Mordian Iron Guard quite fascinating. 😉 👍👍👍
I appreciate that! Hopefully the Omnissiah will send more follwers. I'll take that under advisement ;)
Looks awesome and interesting. Hopefully I'll getva reupload notification soon that fixes the sound
Hopefully in time the tech priets will aid with the quality.
The sound really sucks. At least at the start.
IMO one flaw in the Imperial Army structure is it assumes the officers are equally skilled at ground warfare tactics and space combat tactics. While I'm sure there were many officers skilled in both I can't help but wonder how many extra causalities or defeats in battle came because an officer skilled in either ground or space tactics made significant blunders during battle in the other sphere. Edit: I'm disappointed you didn't talk more about the Escorts since I prefer small or midsized warships to the heavy capital ships and my favorite Warhammer 40,000 officials designs and most of my self made fan designs are Escorts. Though I think if I were making a Warhammer 40,000 video on the Imperial navy and only discussing one type of Warship I would go for the Cruisers since they are the middle ground
😮Yes good point, that is exactly why we separate officers irl. An army officer wouldn't know jack squat about running a boat and the navy officer doesn't know jack squat about conducting ground operations. It's just too much information for one non-transhuman person with a normal lifespan to be proficient at.
Khorne deserves his own black metal style logo, I'll have to ceeate one. Thats another thing I do besides for ships.
40k does have the best artwork to use as inspiration.
@@CultMechanicusArchives Better not foget that E on the end then. I just now noticed that. 😂
Pls fix the audio
Will do
@@CultMechanicusArchivesBetter than it was, the narration is a little on the high level. I don't hear any big enunciation mistakes anymore. Just turn it down a tad is all.
Daaamn! So it was WORSE???
@@Overanalyse_This Yeah he was butchering a few words with his AI voice but it's a trial and error thing.
@@DeathBYDesign666 I was referring more to the scratchiness and low volume level
Really really good and very enjoyable
Cheers man, Im still very new to editing ect... so hopefully the quality will only get better in the future.
I was thinking about making a ship based 40k channel myself. You need to review these before putting them out, your AI voice is butchering a few words.
If you have the time you may as well give it a go. I know its not the best but it sounds more casual than if I had to do it myself unfortunately. Thank you for the feed back and I will work on it.
@@CultMechanicusArchives No problem buddy I forgot to give you a sub but I'll fix that. It's not bad for a start, just some minor issues. I want to focus more on design aspects, capabilities, scale, logistics, etc. and I just started a design project where I'm personally designing a DAoT ship. They supposedly had ships that could wrap around stars and I have done ships like that before. I hope GW doesn't get up my ass about it either, I don't think they dig side canon or speculation.
no need to sub until your 100% happy with the videos. That sounds very interesting. I dont think GW are happy with anything unless your buying something.
@@CultMechanicusArchives I keep my word I just forgot about it. I get distracted easily sometimes, but I will do it right now.
@@CultMechanicusArchives I think I am already set up with a decent name, but I think I might add something more Warhammer to the end. Death by Design Grimdark maybe?
Ayo new 40k guy, can I have a kiss???
Why not... *KISS*
All hail the machine may he bless you with many subscribers,😮😊
Thank you for the support it means a lot
Smooth and cool. Support for the new 40k account!
What's weird is that it took 12 days to get on our recommendations list. All the comments are from today.
