I built a 25-cent Comet Stinson SR-7 model kit around 1949 and fell in love with Stinson Gullwings. This started me on a life long model airplane hobby, including many models of Reliants. Would love to have a ride in one.

Bad Example for pilots: - RSP (PM): no call-outs, no readiness to assume control in case of any problems with LSP (PF), and filming ???? - Approach: shallow and out of parameters. That is a mistake !!!! No need to come shallow on short runways... On the opposite, there's a great chance the running distance would be greater than a 3 degree approach angle.

Hi this is flown single pilot operations and the person in the right seat was a passenger, not a pilot. The airport flying into was a day vfr airport only in the Caribbean. There are no glidslopes or even papi/vasi lights. I appreciate your comments but sometimes you need to do everything visually and get the boss where they want to go. I understand everyone’s flying risks are different and flying capabilities are different, so while some will not attempt something like this, while others look for guidance on how other pilots have approached situations like what they are searching for. Safe flying

@@global360aviation2 Tx for your time to write a few words about it. Much appreciated. ua-cam.com/video/ZhhngEgdwvI/v-deo.html Unfortunately, my colleague's video is in Portuguese. Maybe you can try to translate the subtitles.... He worked several years as an Embraer test pilot, including Phenom development. Cheers

I do have videos of taking off from here. Just haven’t edited them to post. I can tell you at 2000lbs below max takeoff weight it will usually come off the ground in 1500-1800ft.

@@global360aviation2 Awesome, my dram plane but we live to fly in/out of Staniel Cay (3,000’) and everybody says the Phenom 300 can’t do it, then I looked at a Phenom 100 and surprisingly the 300 has better landing performance.....must be those carbon fiber brakes!
