On April 2 2008, wild weather swept through the state of Victoria. This weather caused devastation through Victoria including power cuts to over 200,000 homes and even caused roofs to be blown off houses. “The severe weather was caused by an intense cold front which crossed South Australia and Victoria behind strong northerly winds.”
