@trolltyrant8344 liking oil or nuclear has nothing to do with it. It has to do with safety and effectiveness. Nuclear does not leech its nastiness into the environment as an inherent fact of production. Nuclear only does so under poor management.

The whole oil mineing is killing the plannet is retarded in my opinion because oil isn’t even a true natral resource like iron gold zink ect Oil is made from decayed matter/plankton pressurized similar to a diamond In a way us extracting oil is akin to taking fixing a cist in the earth In a similar way it’s a would in the earth that has healed around it and developed puss (oil) in a similar way that a wound heals improperly Hence we relive the pressure and drain the fluid How would extracting something that would normally not exist if it were not for rare circumstances be to truly detrimental to to plannet if we were extracting coral or magma yes as one of those are vital for life in general and the outher is life blood of our plannet Magma is the life blood of our plannet that holds the magnetic field Not some decayed plant and animal matter that got coverd and compressed smh Heck if it’s really that big of a deal we need to figure out how to artafitally make oil via compression similar to artificial diamonds

Oil reserves are essentially storage for carbon that used to be in the atmosphere when Earth was still very freshly formed. If all the oil and coal in the ground was burned right now the resulting atmosphere would kill every form of life besides deep sea organisms eating hydrogen and iron. We have burned a fraction of that oil and coal, therefore, we have released a fraction of previously trapped carbon. So now we have a fraction of its capacity to trap heat raising temperatures and destabilizing weather patterns.

Nobody is talking about how it destorys the fabric of the planet, it does though, destroying ecosystem. From what I'm getting from your comment, you think that by destroying it, you're thinking of it in fragments, breaking in half. That's now what people mean, they're talking about how the use of oil leads to the release of pollutions, which DESTORY the environment and make temperatures higher through the green house effect. This will eventually make the planet uninhabitable. That's how we're destroying it, we're destroying all of it's life
