In 1984 when this album came out I was a 16 year old sophomore in high school. Forty years later and this is still one of my favorite songs of all time. Thanks for posting!!!

Saw that one live back in the mid 80's when he opened up for Lyle Mays. What a mismatched bill., but Steve Morse Band was excellent. Was like technical perfection.

I saw Jerry Peek, the original bassist do this in Worcester, MA back in 1985. Amazing then, amazing now. This is one great album.

I think it's because Al has problems with his hearing. I am surprised to see him still playing electric guitar. I thought he said wouldn't play electric live any more. So, this is nice to see. Maybe this is the only way he could be on stage with all the volume.

They came over to Athens GA when this album came out in 1984 (maybe even before its release) and played on campus outdoors. They opened with this tune. We were right in front as always. Amazing show. Steve used to come over to the Uptown Lounge and play solo as well. He would bring his loop pedal and build the songs. Amazing. Great time to live there.

This is amazing. Morse sounds as great as ever! I saw a version of this vand open for Van Halen at the Cow Palace in the early 80s. I even have photos of the gig. That's when T Lavitz was with them at the time. Thanks for posting this.

Can I just take a moment to explain how awesome this is to me: I’m a writer ✍️ and I recently got obsessed with Bluegrass while touring Appalachia. I’m working on a screenplay idea about a group of bluegrass players traveling a zombie apocalypse USA. When visiting a predominately Black community, the band drops his song as a way to give back for all the help the community gave them. I’ve just been really hooked on this idea of an intersection of hip hop and bluegrass. Thanks to the band making this a reality!
