Ugh.. Just stop. If you've never heard of a Northfield mandolin, then you don't know mandolin, and you certainly are not qualified to critique a someone's playing based of a 30 second UA-cam clip.

Didn't say anything about the playing of the mandolin. Just the sound of the mandolin. And yes, I do know who Northfield mandolin is and where they are from and how they are processed into America. Just another company using cheap labor from China to produce a plywood sound..... Just my opinion... Don't post on social media unless your ready for real people truth...

I mean, they are made well enough for some of the best players in the world to play them on stage... But some schlub on UA-cam doesn't approve because they sound dull, and they're not manufactured in America.

If I was only playing metal I'd probably pick up something else but it's such a clean pedal platform that it can pretty much do anything. For heavier stuff I'm just running it with a Revv G3 and I love it 👌

I think you have missed the point... the video is just for a nice visual. The song was recorded in my studio with this guitar to demo the tone and the pick ups 👍 a video of me recording this in front of my computer would be pretty mundane
