GoA 4 - Unattended Train Operations (UTO)
Переглядів 1,4 тис.2 роки тому
At the GoA 4, the system is fully automated, there are no drivers or operations staff on-board the train. CBTCSolutions.ca
GoA 3 - Driverless Train Operations (DTO)
Переглядів 7822 роки тому
A GoA 3 system is taking more control of the subway infrastructure. A train driver is no longer required but operation staff are required at the platforms
GoA 2 - Semi Automated Train Operation (DTO)
Переглядів 1,2 тис.2 роки тому
Grade of Automation 2 (GoA 2) is where the core automation functionality is introduced. At this level, the train driver does not control propulsion or braking. CBTCSolutions.ca
GoA 1 - Non Automated Train Operation
Переглядів 1 тис.2 роки тому
A GoA 1 system is a conventionally signalled system, common to the majority of subway and metros around the world. CBTCSolutions.ca
GoA 0 - Line of Sight Operation
Переглядів 2952 роки тому
Grade of Automation or GoA 0 is a system that operates exclusively off of operating procedures. There is no signalling system to protect the trains. CBTCSolutions.ca

Very useful. GOA 2 used in Hyderabad metro in INDIA
Well explained sir, lots of thanks for sharing
Thanks for your effort
thank you for the efforts .more helpful
It's pretty interesting to see train integrity check is only at GoA4. Most CBTC system, due to moving block, need train integrity check to clear the "block".
a thorough explanation on CBT C system and its components and their current application across the world .....congrats on your effort expecting more videos in future
Is the course available? The link doesn't work
I updated the link above. Please have a look.
Really appreciate the clear, concise and calm explanation of the topic.
in case of tripping of person, the train may be prevented to move by using the PSD system which will not allow the PSD to move and may allow the OCC operator to find out the reason of not closing the doors. As the PSD doors have Lazer sensors which will detect the obstruction or in case of no sensor the PSD doors may be of L-channel which will reduce the gap between PSD doors and Train door. Therefore, incase of tripping the passenger, his half of the body will obstruct either the saloon door or mostly chances of obstructing the PSD doors.
Good info

What is Guideway??
Informative
GOA 2 PARIS METRO .. LINE 6
GOA2 : ONLY DOOR CLOSING BY DRIVER..
Great work Mr Naeem but the course is too expensive, I think it should be a free online course.
Thank you for your comment Mr. Kamangar but developing original content like this cannot be developed for free, especially when you consider that there is very little written or taught about CBTC. The cost for this course is very reasonable in the field of corporate training and developing an animated course is expensive. If I had to offer this for free, I would not have created this course considering the time, effort and money I spent. Take Care.
Thank you for explanation
Well explained again
Very informative
Very good Concept. In densely populated South East Asia on main lines this will be the future.
In Melbourne, Australia Metro Tunnel Project MTP is rolling out CBTC GoA2 on Pakenham Cranbourne and Sunbury lines and same will extend to Melbourne Airport Rail Link in near future
Platform Screen Doors, Manual Screen doors for entry to Trackside and interlocked with Signaling, Emergency Trip Switch(Traction), Emergency Stop Plunger( For Signaling Braking), and Staff protection Key system( creating safe zones for a staff working on Track and interlocked with Traction OFF) are normally implemented even in GOA 2 system. Does that mean that only an Intrusion detection system is to be introduced to migrate to GOA3?

Thanks for sharing. There are lots of GoA 2 systems as far as I am aware. Just in the UK there is the Northern Line, Jubilee Line, Victoria Line and others.
This was excellent 👏
Thanks for your sharing, My understanding is that the GOA 3 and GOA 4 for Signaling system has nothing to do right? But only train attendant required in GOA 3 and fully automation in GOA 4. In this case if extra work is needed for on board Communication System?
Excellent presentation. Thank you for sharing.
In Toronto (as you know) the TTC is in the very slow process of changing line 1 to ATC. What all does ATC cover besides train movement? (and i have got to say i LOVE the fact the system stops the train at stations so smoothly without using the full brake like on line 2...lol)
Thank you so much for your excellent lecture, Sir!
Thanks
Sir what is cycle in signalling
I'm thankfully to you for providing such good content... Please share more knowledge content on your channel for the new engineers all around the world
One of the best explanations on CBTC. Thanks Naeem!
Great presentation. Cheers
Amazing. Thank you :)
Brilliantly explained ! Thank you for sharing the information. This video has helped me a lot to understand the overview of the system and saved my time.
Great informative.
👍🏿
Really a nice guide to cbtc.
In the south of China, ATP+CTCT-2 will be used on some unban railways.
I knew nothing to begin with. But thanks to your presentation i learn a lot about cbtc system. Thank you
Very good & Educational Presenetation.
Good afternoon sir can you please tell about conflicting routes in CBTC I'm the signalling student i do know about conflicting signals and conflicting points yet to know about conflicting routes plz answer my doubt sir
Thank you so much. It is very useful. Great top level view of CBTC in term of IEEE 1474.3. Cheers :)
very interesting and useful . many thanks for your time and interest in sharing this
Treamonds overview explanation in a single webinar. Great efforts.... Kudos....
thanx a lot again.
