doing a refresh on my on trx250r. billet cases cpi 380cc lynx top end .i have a trinity ported stock cylinder now. It cooks...i cant wait for the 380.

Pipes look to me like FMF SST head-pipe and toomey silencers
Too much premix oil in ur mix actually makes it LEAN. Break in is 3 sessions of slight revs. Mix 100ml to 1 gal fuel & it will b perfect w/32,5 pilots
The quad is actually running with the same jets, 300 mains and 32.5 pilots and clip in the middle position and air screws 1.5 turns out. Ive done some extensive riding put hours on the motor and it hasnt blown. It gets down and eats!
Definitely wasn't easy to ride in the trails. Still does the job, but the Honda 250r is superior in that aspect. The Banshee is still tons of fun though especially on a road, field, or straight path of somekind.
Pilots way lean and reving the pis out of it is not how you want to do a first start
Yeah for sure the pilots are lean, you are correct, wasnt too worried about revving it, these banshees rev pretty high as is kind of like a 125. If it blows up ill rebuild it again, very easy motor to work on.
those are toomey t3s really old school pipes made for a j arm i have a set on my shee and i love them

The original inframe drag pipes, T3s are arguably the best pipes toomey made for the banshee, I had them on an 88. I have shearers now on my 01, and I noticed the pull up top was similar, T3s were ahead of their time for sure.

If you are wondering quad is fully torn down having the frame powdered right now and its getting a new bottom end aswell, stay tuned.
yeah the weirdness is detonation. I got it running decent on a new bore, still have detonation.I tried doubling up my head gasket, did not work. Looking back if your motor sounds like mine did turn it off before you damage the bore. I believe my stator may be bad. Its oem btw.

If you are wondering to whom is watching. After this video my lower ring caught the intake side ports and scratched the cylinder. Ended up boring to 67.25. Another video within the next few weeks. The R was jetted fine in the video. I believe there was detonation that caused this and my compression ratio was way too high aswell. I did resurface the cylinder and head. Might need some thicker gaskets. Stay tuned
Coukd u tell a difference in power bedore and after the exhaust?
Although I don't have the warrior anymore yes it made a noticeable difference had to rejet the carb too also had better throttle response also I ran the air lid on and still noticed a difference

@@billyrussell6921 cant remember but i looked up a what a stock main and pilot was and bought the 2 sizes up for each just to have. Depends on your elevation and temperature you ride in
I have an 86 with an 87 bottom end so it's now a 265r. Honda hit a home run with the 250r. Mine is a beast... Will rip your arms out of the sockets
I have an 86 250r ATC and it will wheelie in 5th stock! They have great motors.
