Oracle Light install to Aux1 Bronco
Переглядів 5 тис.2 роки тому
Updating - I used Aux 1 - and the forums appear to have consensus that any of the other aux switches would be suitable for use. Aux 1 is the only one with a 30 amp, so you may not want to use it for this.
Thanks for the video, going to install the c-bow today. For the b pilllar brace I went with Krazy House Customs (KHC Bronco 6G brace). Originally brought the DV8 with molle panel, but it was about 1/4” short in width. I went with the plain black brace, but you can have it powder coded in different colors and add lighting to it - depends on how much you want to spend.
Can you reinstall this using landscape mode on your phone instead?
Nice job. Since you have a 22, you already had the holes for the brace to mount into, (on the roll bar) I do not think I have those as I have a 21. I would like to get this, but that gives me pause as I am not sure how easy it would be to drill in those holes.
Agreed. There are some folks willing to drill into theirs, I wouldn't be one of them....
Thanks a ton for the great install video. The manufacturer didn't think it was important to create a video explaining installation with the aux/upfitter switches a lot of Broncos have, and they've actually been linking to your video. Your explanations are spot-on for someone still a little new to electrical work on a vehicle!
Why waste a 30 Amp circuit for a 7.5 amp fog light? Hook it up. To 4, 5 or 6 and save the higher amp switches for higher amp accessories.
yep the oracle website says that both assemblies together draw 7.5A. Use switch #3 (10A). Switches 4-6 are 5A each.
Thanks for the video! How are they holding up? I was reading about some people having fogging / water intrusion issues.
Cool perspective! What location is this?
Very well done!! Made it super easy to install my oracle fog lights!!!
Quick question where did you attach your ground wires to? Can you ground them to the negative battery plate? Thanks
Just wanted to say thank you so much for this video. I just installed mine without a single f-bomb! Haha. Thanks a ton!
Perfect video. This was the only one that shows the install with the factory aux switches. Great job!
Thanks got the video I ordered the Oracle light and therarrived without any instructions. Basically simple but did not want to add another switch as I already have the aux switches with my Bronco. Still have not heard anything from Oracle very disappointed in them Your video was easy to. Follow
Hi, Nice install - how do you like the performance/ light output? Glad you used the aux switch instead of the switch button.
I like it - , trying to figure out a way to show that. Maybe I will pop a drone video at night of it.
