Learning Trumpet in Just 30 Days! 🎺✨ From Clueless Dunce to Confident Doots ✨🎺
🎺👏👏👏 proud of you dude, you’re growing so fast! *wipes tears away*
Aww shucks 😊❤️🎺
Wow top c in 70 days that’s really impressive it took my about 4 years
Thankyou! ❤️
Amazing! I think next step for you is do work on your flexibility daily. Those flow studies will help a lot as well as lip slurs.
Will do!
I don’t play any brass instruments. Is it tricky to go from a relatively high note to that lower one?
Everything is tricky 😂
Hehe
Hehehe
Hehe funny number
Hehe Hehe
Great job
Thankyou!
What brand of trumpet do you have. Keep playing @
Schargerl! ❤️
oh my god please what book are you using?! sounds incredible!
Getchells First Book of Practical Studies
@@DootMeme thanks very much!, your playing is awesome already. I always found the melodies in some of these practice books beautiful sounding but didn’t know where to find any of them and didn’t want to risk getting a bad book since they’re not as cheap in my part of europe. much appreciated!
Nice work today! Check your fingerings on the Eb and D. On a Bb trumpet they’re most resonant as 2 and 1. It’s a naturally flat partial so you’ll need some coordination of air speed to play them in tune, but you’ll ultimately get a better sound when not using alternate fingerings.
Great thanks Jon ❤️ I think the fingering chat I have is wrong then 😂 or only lists the alternates for some reason
@@DootMeme just to be clear, I’m referring to the 3rd line D and 4th space Eb up top. The bottom fingerings are the only options 😂
Beautiful tone and musicality. I've been playing the trumpet for nearly 2 years and i am nowhere near as good as you are on Sax and to be honest not very far ahead of you on trumpet. Out of curiosity which do you find easier trumpet or sax?
Thankyou so much! Sax is way easier on the embouchure, but more difficult on the fingering! Trumpet is super hard on embouchure and therefore harder overall as it controls so much.
How do you know if It's not raining today? Are you a psychic? :D
bruh i looked out the window
@@DootMeme It can still rain
You really do seem to be getting better each day. Are you practicing daily by any chance? 420 subscribers: nice, although I’m sure you’re sure you’re due many more.
😂😂 Nah I barely pick up the horn
I’ve been following all of these vids it helped me get through my playing as I’ve had to redevelop my amboshure going from super g’s to just the c in the stave as the highest, managed to get up to the f but progress is slow
Let's do it together ❤️❤️🎺🎺🎺
Wow, the progress is incredible!!!
Thankyou so much I'm having loads of fun!
incredible! how long do you train everyday?
Thankyou! About 15-30m on a weekday around 45m on a weekend
"What is this thing called love" is such a good tune
I heard that misty intro in there, nice!
You know it!
Blow through the note. That is the never ending secret. Not hard. Not a lot. Through. The progress is awesome!
I'm trying! ❤️
you're gonna make me buy one at this rate
Do it! ❤️
Great improvement!!!
Glad you think so!
Thomann 🙏
Yeah a Schargerl!
Letssss goooooo
I'm goioiiiinnngggg!
Yeah dude! High C in two months! Thats some progress, and your tone is starting to sound much fuller and refined. Congratulations!
Thanks Jon! Your lesson really helped!
Nice! Remember, 1st valve slide should be micro adjustments until you get it figured out. You’re using it on the A, but now it’s a tad too far out and cuasijg you to have to lip it up. Try using a little less. Keep going! 🎺🫡
Man trumpet is complicated 😂 ill keep trying!
Sure scales are cool but can you play chopsticks? Seriously though, I’ve never spent as much time thinking about how trumpets work. Keep up the good work!
I'll never reach that level. It's beyond me.
Wow, he can cook AND play the trumpet? Jamie Oliver’s coming up in the world.
😂 Thanks I think?
I’m no trumpeter but your expression continues to improve. Kudos!
Thankyou ❤️❤️
Sounding good! A lot of progress since the beginning! One tip I have is to try to keep the air moving throughout the phrase. If you can play a melody like that as if you were just holding one single note with your air, the notes should come out a little smoother.
Im really struggling with this and changing the speed of the air but I'm working on it!
@@DootMeme great way help with that is trumpet flow studies or moving long tone
That sounds just fine to me great work
Thankyou! <3 Got to remember it's a long old journey!
I gotta start using that first valve too 😅
Don't change mouthpiece, use only 1 minimum 1 year
Changing mouthpieces is fine...
WELL WHICH IS IT?!???!!!?!!??!
@@penguinsfr not every day, especially not for beginners, i change also ... I know that it's okay 👍
Awesome! You’re doing a great job, brother! Make sure you’re using that first valve slide on the E’s and A’s so that you don’t have to use your embouchure to bend the notes down.
I forgot you mentioned that thankyou!
One of the things i noticed when making the switch from 7c to 3c was how exhausted my fsce would get. You rely less on hardware and more and your skill with the 3c so it takes awhile to get used to.
Sounds like a good thing in the long run though!
Id personally recommend to think more of a “da” sound when you articulate. That should make the beginning of your notes sound a bit smoother. Great work and keep it up!
Thanks for the tip ❤️
Great job man!
Thank you! Cheers!
Next try please try to play thousand miles😊
I'll give it a go!

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction! 🎺🎺🎺
I’m still here
Me 2
Dang man! You already sound way better! Keep it up.
Thanks dude!
Really nice, I’m not a trumpet player, but I can play the trumpet, and I will tell you, when you play high, try not to tense up. When you play high on trumpet, you wanna stay as calm and relaxed as possible and have fast and focused air
I'm trying <3
Excellent ! Been trying to play for 9 years, not this good.
I believe in you!
I have an awesome tip, when you stop playing make sure to breath in instesd of just sorta stopping. It makes your release sound much better.
I'll try that thankyou Kool Kat
@DootMeme you're welcome. It's something that I wish I had learned early on
Your tone has improved so much since you started! My piece of advice today would be to try to set your lips for the note before you let the air come out. Really try to hear the sound in your head before you blow
Great tip, thankyou!
Awesome dude! Keep it up! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I will!
❤️🔥
❤️
Awesome! Definitely seems like a helpful thing to have!!
It is!
Great improvement!
Thanks!
Could please try to play some meme songs😊 I would love to hear for a great beginner
Name one!
