How I gained 15kg and didn't get fat!

9 months, 15kg, 33Ibs or 2 stone 3Ibs gained. And I can still see my abs (just!) Thats what im saying... if i eat a weeks worth of calories in one sitting does that mean i dont have to eat anything the rest of the week?
On the flip side there's people basically only able to eat a small snack a day and still look like whales; because sometimes; vessels suck. I am one such human living in one such vessel. Before i lost my gym legs i was well fit. But the spinal damage that took away both food consumption and exercise and i spend 23 hours a day looking like I've got a pregnancy sympathy belly strapped on. Check your ableism m8

I would recommend the Nike Run Club guided apps to get into running. Like you, I thought runners were crazy. But I started using the guided runs in 2021, and it got me hooked and I ended up doing my first marathon this year. Not only does it give you a good training plan, but it also teaches you how to approach running mentally to make it enjoyable (e.g. how to pace runs, the difference (and importance) between easy runs, tempo runs, etc.). Plus, Coach Bennett also gives you some decent life advice and they also do a collab with Headspace. It's a bit clunky in terms of how the app interacts with Strava, but I would say that the guided runs trump Strava's Kudos when you are first getting into running! Decent pace for your first run in 10 years! Good luck with the training!

When I got into tracking and going to the gym, I was like yeah baby protein pancake and waffles every morning. Now I just put the ingredient together to make protein oats, a meal I much prefer and it's easier to manipulate calories of. I much prefer simpler stuff these days. I can't be arsed with the million tings these recipes need that I won't use elsewhere
Exactly that man haha! I use to do the same and it got tedious AF! Now have protein oats for breakfast every morning too! Have done for years now, it’s a winner isn’t it and easy to make!

Now I can't judge because this is pulled out of context. But... He is partialy right believe it or not. Just these processes don't happen to that much extent. What I did while fasting was train twice a day, hard training in the evening and running or light cardio in the morning. What happened one day, I got epileptic siezure after one of the morning runs. So be careful with fasting and listen to your own body.
