man you are very talented. I love the way you prep your canvas. those browns and tans and greys look really good. I think you got a great thing going for you! one suggetion i have is maybe doing voice overs when you are painting to explain a little more in detail. (a good voice recorder app is audacity)

My Behind-the-Scene Story: I believe I painted this back in 2019 ish. I always carry painting tools in the trunk of my car. I filmed this painting video in the back seat of my Kia Niro after work. This piece took be about 20-30 minutes I think. I wanted to show you that we need to always find ways to maximize your day...no matter the circumstance and no matter if you are feeling good or bad that day. I think I turned off AC during filming (to reduce background noise) 😅 so I was sweating the whole time I think.
This piece is a visual feast, a testament to the artist's creative prowess.nice

Where did the green hues come from at the top if you didn’t introduce any blue to the yellows? Seems odd-unless it’s due to camera or monitor distortion.
I am sorry about that. I think I may have edited that part out. My BTS (Behind-The Scene) commentary: I think this was around 2019 and I painted this piece after work in the back seat of my car. I am sweating like crazy because this is middle of summer and I rolled up all the window to minimize any outside noise with AC turned off...haha. I must really like painting 🤣

@SamLeaPainting I've relatively only recently begun using canvas to paint. I would never have thought to turn the darn thing around. 😊 It's videos like yours that stretch the imagination for people such as I. I'm self-taught almost exclusively via UA-cam videos. Living in my sixties has been my creative years. I never had the bug to paint or create during my years until now. I'm amazed at what I can do and that it has been hidden all these years. Thank goodness I've blossomed. 😆😊

Love the art. Nice use of foil. Watch out for oxidation as that's not real gold. It will change colors when water based mediums go over it. (The sound track hurt my ears so i turned it off.)

Wasn’t sure at first when the gold leaf was put on but when the red got added it really popped. I actually really like this. Good reminder for me to keep going even if I am not sure about how the piece is working out for me. Thank you for sharing.
