Still got a lot of work to do, but MAN, I wish I had this current "drive", when I was younger. Was way too content to play "functionally" solid. This is way, way more fun, even if I'm not quite as good at it. Thanks!!! Miss you too, Man, but keep doing exactly what you are doing!!!

Haha, Man, I am NOT great, ask Pat(haha!), but tho I screw up a few times, couple people were like, "that was like listening to it live"(which it obviously was, haha!)(and I JUST learned it). I love the studio quality stuff friends send me, but I kinda like just throwing it out there, flaws and all, for some reason. To me-being able to REMEMBER all this crap, even if I don't nail it, is "something". :D Thanks!!!

Correct! I actually play much faster than most people-most are saving peppers, in an attempt to beat the Killscreen, it IS possible, but it glitches the game, goes in slow motion, and I didn't even try!

Months of practice!!! :) It's pretty much all I did for three solid months. Learn a few patterns, then start developing your own. It takes a while, but you get a feel for it.

OK, here's the one I want to dig into, for yur Son. On the harmonics-I'd suggest taking on the little breakdown on Dance the Night Away. It's not as difficult as it seems at first, and is easy to "play around with", once you get it, and you'll get used to tapping 12 frets above, and will get the "barely touch the strings" feel you need for regular harmonics. He's possibly not developed pinch harmonics-that really comes with time, and happens when you sorta stop thinking about how you hold the pick. Eventually, it's gonna move around some, based on what you are trying to do. Based on the little I've seen, I'd actually suggest him kinda try to play what he might think is "over his head". PDX Guitar freak, here on YT, has breakdowns of a lot of solos, in a very understandable format. I wasn't/am not a lead player, but I got a wild hair to try to play over my own head, even having played 40 years(I'm really NOT that good, I promise), and it made Worlds of difference, in a short time. So, rewind-he's gonna need to forget "instant gratification", for a short time. Even as long as I've played, and as understandable as the videos are, each one still took me several DAYS to get through, and one even took a couple of weeks. But once you start getting a few phrases down, it "clicks". Man-I wish I was 16, and had access to that dudes videos. I promise, in short order, yur Son will be blowing his own mind. Atomic Punk is VERY doable, has a tricky part towards the beginning, but slow it down, slow the y/t vid down, and it'll get better and faster every day. Ya, Man. Anything we can do to keep him playing. Already know you want him to, now I do too, and he seems to "have it". :D

Thanks! I was so excited to get a Dime, even a hardtail, and a cheap one, but it has a small crack in the body at the neck joint, and I have trouble keeping the b string in tune. Still, it's a beast, haha, "Weapon of Destruction", HUGE fretboard, fun to play. Had the Animalize Live VHS tape for the longest time, made me sad, Mark St. John "had it". I actually like Bruce a lot, glad he got an opportunity, but was a big "no fair", for mark. :(

This one is really fun to work up with two guitar players, something I haven't done a lot, but me and an old time buddy, Rick(Ricky, lol!)worked it up a couple decades ago, he was a "for fun" player, and it still sounded pretty neat! That was actually a sorta "loaned" guitar, bought it from a guy, took it apart and piddled with it(is a low cost guitar), just wanted to see what it could do. Loaned it to another buddy, because... Well, I kinda have too many guitars. I know there's no such thing, but... :D

Thanks, Man-my Grandkids now and stuff, but yur the main reason I ever bothered to upload stuff to "share" on youtube. I hope noone really ever takes me TOO seriously, I absolutely know how good crazy talented musicians are-we aren't them, unfortunately, so we just gotta do the best we can!!!

I have several other real ones, common, but that's an oddity-it's a winning letter from a Starmaster contest, the winners won a small piece of Skylab. A buddy sent me the letter, but unfortunately he'd sold the piece of Skylab years ago!

Actually, the "block" is too big. I was pretty specific on what guitar I was getting it for... :D I'll probably eventually get the correct size, I'm sure. Mebbe it's a unique sound for now, I guess. That IS a great idea tho, about the back panel!

I've heard that, tho I don't see/hear it TOO much in this one- I think it's because I'm a natural lefty, some things that should be hard are easy for me. On the other hand, there are things that should be easy, that are nearly impossible for me! :P I'm not too gud, I've just played for...almost 40 years(shhh...). Thanks a lot!!!
