Sad indeed , I understand that everything costs money ,but surely we could saved save 1 frigate,for what these ships and crews did for our country we could have given them some permanent recognition.Instead we waste money on other things.

Shouldn't it be called the 'Blackpool Model Ship Show'. I'm sure you lot know the difference between a boat and a ship! Sadly I also noticed no sailing ship models of any kind - Royal Navy and commercial examples etc etc etc - apart from a few very minor examples. Still the quality of a lot of the models representing powered ships of all ages was extremely high.

It would be a sad day to lose this great piece of British Engineering history.

The story is as per usual, shitheads getting rid of a valuable piece of history. The Onyx went the same way too, and for what? Yep to preserve a load of old junk of a U.boat which they dragged off the sea floor, a boat which was built and designed to bring England to its knees
