2022Flashback
Lasya Ranjani is a dance school located in San Jose, CA. Smt. Anitha Addagadde, founded this school in the summer of 2010 with a goal to educate, envision and entertain. She has been working tirelessly to achieve her goal through her students.
2022 was a year of experimentation. I, Anitha, tried composing dances to different folk numbers. It was a bit challenging but very interesting. Another big endeavor was the presentation of Dashavatara by the students. Students got exposed to a lot of facets of this dance. The last adventure was the ABGMV dance examinations! It was challenging, but we made it:)
Lots of learning, laughing, yelling, some crying .... overall, a great year!!!!

The advanced students of Lasya Ranajani presented an opening piece of Silapathikaran, a great work written by Ilango. The music composition and the song itself is taken from Madhurai R Muralidharans Silapathikaran dance drama.
