I thank you for your comment, john hammond. It's true, in the truest sense... no one can "prove" that Jesus Christ is God. Apart from Him revealing Himself to each person, personally - we will not be able to "figure God out" on our own. This is where FAITH comes in. And Humility... Believing God, He will reveal Himself. He knows the heart of each one of us... To him that searches sincerely for God, and has an open and loving heart, God will answer... through the power of the Holy Spirit... <3 ...Peace & Love, I do hope you will, in sincerely seeking Him and waiting on Him, that you will find God... and find, that He is LOVE ! ~ Joanna

Joanna Louise Scarlet thank you for your nice reply Joanna. Anecdotal evidence and faith are never going to overcome good testable scientific evidence. You are convinced that your God is the true one and the Muslim is convinced that his God is the true one and so on and so on. Its a crazy world out there when it comes to religion. john hammond Hi, John. :) No worries at all - my pleasure. I just want to add one more thing... Jesus is real, John... And yes, He is the One True God. If it were not for Him, I would not be here (where I am now, in my life), if I would be here at all (alive). I am alive and well because of Jesus Christ. ... If you will just be patient, and open your heart a little, I promise you... He will come in. (Saying this at the risk of sounding "cheesy," or too romantic, etc...) I am not speaking about something that I want to believe, or have pleasure convincing others it is so, so that I could feel important, etc. No. It is because of Jesus Christ that I am alive... (He saved me, in every sense. I would have died at 22, if He hadn't kept me; long story...) But, meditate within your heart on what I have written you, here. It takes time to make videos and edit them; but, by God's grace, I will continue; and at one point, I will give my testimony of how I came to know The Lord. IT IS REAL. I love all people. Their religion does not bother me. When you know the truth (I'm not claiming to know the whole truth, lol; no one does! Only God, of course.) - you have a deep peace; and love for all people... and patience. All this comes from God... But, do you know what? ... Even if many are born into many other religions, God Himself knows the heart of each person... Yes. And there are people from all religions and walks of life, that, when Jesus calls them, they will answer. And likewise, many Christians are not true Christians, sadly... pastors too. :( So, it's not about "religion." No. It is about the heart... God knows the heart. For now, don't worry about others... I recommend that you dig deeper to find Him for yourself. And yes, there is a fight for this. The enemy (satan) does not want us to know the truth (Jesus). And he is working very hard to blind us to it; to make us stumble... If it were not real, I would not spend my time giving you this long answer. It is out of love I am doing it... So, even at the risk of you being bothered by my answer, I will insist. Not for me; for you. I do know it is a matter of life and death - Eternal Life or Death - if we choose Jesus as our Lord; or not. It is for this one reason alone that I insist. And this is truly the whole purpose to each of our lives. ... That is all for now. If you will not reply to me, I will not continue again. But, if you would like anytime, to talk further - I would be happy to. :) There is a fight for our faith. Daily. For our minds; and hearts. Yes, Jesus is real to you. And Allah is very real to the Muslim I am debating with at the moment. I am 70 years old [or young?] and I have studied religions over many years. I have also studied evolution and have a good working knowledge of it. I come from a family of scientists. [all atheists] My eldest son and my daughter are both scientists working on DNA and the gnome. I do appreciate how convinced you are about your faith. Just try to appreciate that not all of us agree with you for very good and sound reasons. All the best to you Joanna and thank you for being polite. Thank you for your comment, Gnomefro! To answer some of the points that you make - if you have a well-defined purpose, that's great. It should be this way. You cannot say, however, that nobody has influenced you in that decision. Ultimately you choose, yes, but we are each influenced by everything around us - usually by a combination of many factors, such as people, environment, our society, country and religion in which we were born, etc... :) And in the end, we become our own person and make our own choices; but we must know that everything (all of life, and non-life) around us, in which we live - has influenced us - and quite profoundly, too. Second, yes, I have felt purposeless many times in my life; this was, in part, because I have had several "purposes," meaning that I had thought I've found my way more than once - only to figure out later that that was not the course for me. ... For women, it is generally harder to "find themselves," I find; it is also harder to define our own worth; it's a gender thing (I will hopefully get to talk about this in other, future videos). :) Third, many people who share similar beliefs as you, have mentioned this very thing to me: that "I have latched onto an idea from someone else." :) It seems easier to believe, doesn't it? ... Yes, I have gotten to know The Lord from hearing other people speak, reading from the Bible, and asking questions - but The Lord, Jesus Christ, has revealed Himself to me. This can be (and usually is!) a VERY long discussion, for which I have not the time, nor the energy to invest, especially if someone will not believe me. But He has, and that is not a lie - I promise you. I believe I mentioned that my "feelings" are unimportant, "what I like," "what I want," not my values. Anyways. To each his own, my friend. I do not disregard anybody, based on one's beliefs. We are each free to choose! Heaven and Hell have been revealed to me, as well. They ARE very real. ... If I were to choose, I would rather that they did not exist!!! But this reality has been revealed to me. ... I am just a very sensitive person (and great pain comes with it, as well), and this is the reason why I am able to perceive more into the spiritual realm, I believe. ... And, of course, even having had these spiritual experiences - is no guarantee that I'll "make it" to Heaven. No. That is my choice, based on whether I will follow and DO His Will for my life (not outwardly, but in the true sense of the word - another LONG discussion, lol). ... And I think, little by little, I am finding it - only because I choose to be true to myself. Highly imperfect!!! But true. ....... It's hard, many times, to express in words the inner workings of one's soul / mind / being. But, by grace, I will expand on this topic (and others) and will hopefully clarify a little more of our life's complex issues, as they are seen, felt, and lived - by me.
