Backlog Blaster: Get in the car, loser review
It's insane that the ai can pull from the charicters lore and information and create new awncers, imagine if lore breakdown youtube makers begin asking in game charicters to find out new information the developers don't even know 😳
Nice. Quite primitive but exactly what I've been wanting to see. Can't wait until it gets more fluid and believable.
the title alone made me click on this. The content made me stay. I like it here. You're stuck with me now.
that tutorial was unhinged!

While I was watching this, I noticed my wife sniffing her palm. I asked what she was doing, she said, "My hand smells like baby." Without breaking eye contact, she raised her other hand to her nose and sniffed it as well. "This one does too." I ask you, can Mentella do that?
Say what?

This was fun to watch. Definitely got Thing vibes too.
The guy should add the Streets of Rogue teleport system again where you just click a icon you've been to and teleport there.
Nice format, hope you make more of these.
Honestly so far my problem with this game, which isnt something that will not make me play it, is honestly that I liked the graphics so much more in SoR 1, mainly the SHAPES of the characters, these ones feel very weird imo. Also the camera should be a little more zoomed out just like the trailers and previous game its all too big. Also the interface so far feels too complicated having to click 4 times just to buy something from a shop but I hope the dev will just return to the old one and was using this one for ease of code..
Can you play Celeste? Your voice would go well with a Celeste playthrough.
@@armor1596 I tried and I think my reflexes aren't at the standard it requires any more. That said I was never exactly brilliant at platformers.
the demo feels smaller than it really is, I keep thinking I've done everything this demo has to offer, then I find something new.
There's a ton of potential, but there's simply not enough in the game yet. The games VERY ambitious, so it might be a good year or two before it's anywhere close to the tightness of the first game
Most things are placeholders, even the ui is placeholder
Where is the resistance leader? Been looking all over my map and don't see him anywhere.
In a small hut north of the starting point.
@@nonlamesniper I think I can confirm this bug, I started a new world and has that resistance leader but checking the initial world I created the guy is nowhere to be found
how do you use cars in this demo? I never figured out how to unlock cars.
@@LoganIsTired yeah you can't as far as I'm aware but if you keep doing missions for the resistance leader you unlock one of your own
there's car shops that can generate

I didnt like the demo at all. I loved the first game for the straightforward missions and the freedom to get them done by any means necessary, but now that its an open world survival-ish stable world where every kill affects your reputation it feels too tame. Exploration and resource gathering is a chore too. Whats your takeaway from streets 1 vs 2?
I think it's too early to say. The good thing is historically Matt tends to listen to criticism so this may all change. I agree I'm not too into the resource gathering, but I think exploration could really work if there was more stuff in the world, which there isn't yet. 1 is a tighter experience for sure. I don't think 2 is anywhere near yet.
Imma be honest, if your main dislike is the open world survival-ish part, idk if that specifically is going to change much. Exploration and resource gathering probably, but considering he wanted to go for a more of an RPG sandbox style of a game now instead of level-based roguelike like the first game, I doubt there's much he can do about the prior without disrupting what the game is supposed to be.
stick to the first one then
I played a bit of the demo and one thing's for sure, it's a demo and a lot is missing, but if you really like the roguelike aspect of the first game, I don't think the second one will give you that. I like what he's going for and would want to get my hands on the full experience, so far there are a lot of bugs and stuff that need to be fixed and dunno if the resources and economy are really well balanced. All and all, gotta give it a chance once it fully releases.
Im enjoying the Demo.. just sad you only get to pick from 3 choices.. they could at least given us Custom.. Currently doing a Soldier RP. A Sidequest had me do something unethical so i completed the quest.. out of guilt i burned down the Employment office.
HAHA. Brilliant!
Is it old demo video?
@@Value_Geek9447 no it was downloaded today
First thing im gonna do in this game when I get my hands on it is become bat man.
I enjoy your face :D but how the hell do you end up with so much shite in your backlog?
Literally just buying too much shit.
@@StarvedForTime I assume it's bundles that do it.
to make people follow its super easy u can get anyone. you just gotta give them a reason to follow you. easy ways is talk to them and they will like and trust you quick and than ask
At this stage of development I don't see this as anything but a toy; an interesting toy, but once the shiny wears off it'll just be a distraction.
Love your videos & a dive through the backlog was good..I'd not hold it against you to edit out the one that didn't run
@@poperamone yeah, I considered removing it entirely but I really wanted to mention Spiderweb software as they don't get enough credit.
Yeah it's fun to follow you go through your backlog, makes me want to do the same.
Dude it's not 9 hours of gameplay. It replays infinitly as you can choose another era over and over again. That is a HUGE detail you left out. Booo 👎
Yeah this was from back in Early access. I really should revisit this.
The change in format scares me. I fear that the open world will feel like it could spend itself given enough time spent in a seed.

@@Kolenment I'll dig it out, I know it's something I made, I can't remember if it was a hybrid of different tracks though. I'll have a look tonight. Am cooking atm
Ok, the musical component is from this from my Nimon project ant-zen.bandcamp.com/track/a-new-job-in-a-new-town It was mixed together inside vegas with some drums I made, so I've extended and glued it together for you. Sorry it's not super dynamic, it was thrown together in no time and was never meant to actually be a track. keefbaker.bandcamp.com/track/a-new-job-in-a-new-town-drum-mix I've put it up as name your price so you don't have to pay anything if you don't want. Obviously feel free to peruse anything else on there.
i don’t look at sales and buy a bunch of stuff i don’t plan on playing in the near future. if i want to play something right now and i don’t have it, full price is fine. time is more valuable than money.
感觉第一部就应该做成这样
which LLM model do you like to use? Edit: nevermind you mentioned gpt 3.5 turbo. I use that one also.
One piece of advice I heard from Quinton Reviews was, "If a video does well on your channel, do that 5 more times then stop doing it." You've got the presentation, you just need a killer series to bring in some eyes.

My m8 and I completed this back in the day, awesome game! thanks for the great video!
Seems like it was very slow response times it’s probably due to the fact that you’re running it on a mechanical hard drive. But very cool nonetheless! Very funny too, thanks for sharing. You should have included that asshole Nazem when you were insulting the npc’s :p

Oh I miss rimworld so much. But I have to be careful about what kinds of games I play. Rimworld hits the perfect spot for me that I don't find a point where I want to put it down, and I end up neglecting other parts of my life.
It respects your time until Randy decides to give you the perfect combination of a sapper mechs, a raid with doomsdays, and to really rub it in you get a psychic drone causing the pyromaniac to light the chemfuel storage
Quick answer? Any game with multiple save slots and a game time function respects your time.
Wow! Not my kind of channel, but very high quality. I hope you gain traction and visibility, this can help a lot of people!
Short and sweet.
Just never install mods if you have a weak PC. Rimworld on 60 TPS definitely does NOT respect anyone's time
Thanks for the warning.
If your TPS is struggling I suggest installing Performance Fish. It made my Save Our Ship 2 save, where I simultaneously have a 20 person colony on the planet and a giant Star Ship in orbit, go from an average of 50-60 TPS (even on 3x speed mode) to a consistent 360 TPS on 3x speed mode.
300 hours still haven't beat the game once. Funny thing is I've done a full playthrough of Crusader Kings 2 lol
500 hours here. Beat the game once.
cassandra does not respect my time. the amount of times i've gotten raid back to back
and i only play reload anytime mode because i hate it when my colonists die to a manhunter pack of guinea pigs
Fair enough. Rimworld can be rough.
@@StarvedForTime But that's the thrill, so I think on my next playthrough, gonna try a harder difficulty on commitment
@@CityAstro I started on "strive to survive" commitment mode and had to go back down to "adventure story" and reload anytime just to experience the game without closing it down from the task manager every couple hours.
I hate myself for not playing Rimworld earlier 😭
don't beat yourself up. Rimworld is happy to do that whenever you started playing.
good video
