Whoa! You got more for shipping the logs via train than you did for the logs themselves? That's wild! So here's the next question, as I saw that train backing up like you pointed out. How many times can a guy do this? Plunk in one tree, send the train off... kaching... then wait for it to back up, and do it all again? Will it give you $23K again and again, assuming you have the patience to sit there and do it? Sounds quite lucrative! 💰💸 EDIT: Looks like you did do it again, and it had the same result. But I do wonder if there's a timer in there to prevent the player from getting too much extra juice by doing this...

You know, that's interesting - you like to leave the smaller trees so they can grow larger. I have the same thought, but I seem to recall from studying the lua coding that the existing trees in the map don't grow further. The only ones that actually 'grow' are the ones you plant yourself. I could be wrong on that, but I think that's what I remember reading. So you just as well do a clear cut! 😂

I enjoy watching others log . It beats watching myself try and do it , lol .

Thanks for the video, whyknot. You're squeeziing every bit of revenue out that you can, even sending the train off. Do you know how much more income that gives you by doing that? I've always wondered how much it is. 🙂

Dec. 11, 2024 Aha!!! Now I see where all that Hay came from we baled 🤣🤣 Good job. I never would have thought to windrow the grass first before tedding it. And obviously I didn't becuz after you got done mowing it again during the MP live stream, I just started tedding it without windrowing it. You should have told me to wait until you windrowed the grass before letting me ted it. 🤣🤣 It'll all come out in the wash I guess. LOL Take care. Hope to see you again soon.

Dec. 10, 2024 Thank you so much for this video Mr. Whyknot. You always explain things really well. FS17 has some really neat features, like being able to cut trees and place buildings on land you don't own. I wish Giants had carried those features thru to all future game versions. This version (FS17) intrigues me. The only reason I didn't buy it when it was on sale was becuz I didn't think I would be able to download any other maps or mods but someone (I don't remember who) in one of your live streams, said you can go to google and type in FS17 ModHub and there are mods/maps for download. If I had known that beforehand, I would have bought FS17. No biggee tho. I have it saved in my WishList so if it goes back on sale, I'll snag it then. Thank you again for showing how to place buildings on FS17. I appreciate it. Take care.
